We liked everything during our stay at Auberge des Arts.

Auberge des Arts is in a perfect location. It is close to a big shopping mall, a subway station, a conference center, some museums, restaurants and beautiful tulips (seasonal). However, its neighborhood is quiet. We slept well all the five nights. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable. We are very happy with his service and we like chatting with him. The breakfasts prepared by him were delicious. We miss his omelette so much.

Well, its a matter of cultural issue. Indonesians are accustomed to using water sprinklers in the toilet after doing their business, but in Canada the toilets don't have water sprinklers.

Pierre and his mom, the owners were super helpful. Me and my colleague came almost at midnight, but they served camomile tea and light meal to ease our jetlag. The next day, Pierre made us simple yet delighftul breakfast along with local tips and stories about Canada.

Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning and is completely free. You can choose what to eat from the menu on Pierre's phone! I can't believe such great service for such a low price. The laundry service here is also free. Pierre will take care of it and return the clothes to your room when finished. The bathroom was absolutely clean and tidy despite having to share it with others. In addition, I came to Ottawa to apply for a US visa. The location is very close to the US Consulate, only a 7-minute walk. Pierre is very familiar with the process and can also provide you with a travel guide to Ottawa attractions. Totally worth it! Believe me!

The landlord is very welcoming and nice. The breakfast is delicious. There are many shops around, it is very lively on weekends, and it is not far from the subway station. It is a very good living experience. Thank you to the landlord for the warm hospitality. The landlady and her son are very welcoming. I hope to have the opportunity to meet them again in the future.

Pierre and Chantel are wonderful hosts. We felt at home from the first moment we set foot at the Auberge des Arts. Pierre knows everything you need to know about Ottawa. The place is near all the facilities ( Metro ) and the fantastic National Art Gallery. There are many lovely restaurants in a 5-minute walk. Pierre's breakfast is really good . All. The house is pretty. We booked the room with private washroom, it is big. Even it has microwave and freeze. It has a good wi-fi conecttion and tv, the bed is very confortable. But the best is the Host Pier. He is very kind, he recommended us a lot of place to visit, and told us many thing about ottawa and canada in general... he is amazing and he prepare the delicius and very complete breakfast...

No air conditioning in room. Hard to pry open the windows. Heat turned on at night time and I was sweating trying to fall asleep. But then again, understandable since the house is an old unit.

Pierre is a really good host. So kind and accommodating. Very considerate given that I only stayed for the night. A very big plus is the constant housekeeping that he does and the free clean bath towels that you can use for your stay.

Extremely kind and friendly service, very accommodating and helpful with me leaving my luggage a little late. The breakfast was excellent, and can be suited to your taste (also some snacks provided). Extremely close to downtown Ottawa and all the major sights.

From the outside we were a bit concerned. It was a bit unkept but we were really pleased with everything. Quirky fun old decor.

Pierre is incredible host, so friendly, helpful and educated!) The house with it's own and nice atmosphere! Amazing breakfasts) Great location, everything is so close! I wish I could stay there longer, but didn't have more time and needed to go back.. For me, staying there was the Best part of my little trip and Ottawa! Hope to visit it again!)

Enjoyed staying in a character house that was within walking distance of Ottawa's many attractions. I appreciated Pierre's easy going manner. Thanks for sharing the highlights to check out in the neighbourhood, up to date attraction hours (with all the restoration work going on at PH), and most of all I was thankful for the paper map to see proximity and perspective before heading out to explore.
