Shower was pathetic with regard to water pressure. Air conditioning was poor and we had to open the balcony door to get some air.

Superb location, very close to the river walk and convenient for shops and restaurants.

Bathroom was small, and the ventilation system is poor (if it exists). Very expensive compared with similar European hotels, but Banff seems to be on top from this point of view.

Good hotel near the center of Banff. All the attractions can be reached in 5-10 minutes by walk. Large rooms, good sound-insulation. Free parking. Nice staff.

Should be updated. Bed cover was very heavy. Window cover was bulky to move and room lighting was poor.

The room was very outdated, but that isn't too bad, considering all the positives. There was also no AC in the regular rooms, which was fine considering how cold night gets, but could be tough if it was hotter.

This property was in the best location, and the room was clean and comfy. Perfect for a week long stay, we had everything we needed within a very short walk! The staff were also amazing!! Also worth it to ask if there is a river view room available, over overall I did not see any bad views.

Elevator was out of action for a few hours. Room was very hot, portable fan supplied but needed cooling.

It has nothing to do with the hotel, but I did not expect no AC in all the room. I had nose bleed every morning due to high attitude. The stay was not as comfortable as I though it would be, but I could not blame the hotel.

Location is very good, then again the city of Banff was not very big. Scenery nearby was excellent.

The room had 2 double beds and would have slept 4. Both the beds were almost against the walls so it would have been difficult to get in and out of bed if you had to share. No where to hang a towel up next to the handbasin.

The position of the hotel next to the beautiful Bow river but only 5min walk from the centre of Banff. The pool in the hotel next door.

No air conditioning. This needs to be addressed summers are getting hotter our stay was very uncomfortable. Fans supplied but of little use just blew hot air around and dried out your eyes.

Terrific location perfect place for walking into Banff town and perfect for walking on trails.

My room overlooking the Bow River and mountains was perfect, but he screen over the glass sliding door kept coming off track. The friendly staff was exceptionally helpful.

The room and facilities were basic, motel-like. You have to go to the other property to get a restaurant, bar, coffee, anything.

The location was great and the price *very* reasonable. The pool and spa they provide access to at the sister property across the road were very nice.

Had 2 rooms that were different sizes but paid the same price for each. Weather was hot. A ceiling fan would have been better than small room fan. Kept patio door open all night to cool down room which caused a very early wake up when a truck made a delivery at 6am. A river view suite would have been better than a back parking lot.

Staff were very helpful and location was excellent. Bed was very comfortable.

Having a room with a double bed in it plus a single - it left about 30cms space to get out of bed on the window side of the double. There is no air conditioning or window to open. Management should look at this problem since the climate has changed. Room service could help. We closed the heavy curtains in the morning to reduce the heat for when we returned - room service had opened them and the room was extremely hot!! Overpriced but it's Banff!!

The position; Quiet and only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Next to the river which you can walk along side for kilometres. The river view rooms are worth paying extra for - the others either look onto the carpark or the road (but will probably be cooler in summer). Having a balcony, and two chairs and a table in the room.

Close to Banff activities. nice river and parkland view. Quiet part of town and room was serviced each day. Staff were responsive and provided items on request such as a kettle. lots of space to store things in. Surprisingly large room with table and chairs. Access to lovely pool and hot tub in adjoining hotel.
