Travellers should be aware that there are steps to climb both inside and outside the apartment. The apartment is about 10 minutes' drive to downtown, but it is on a busy road. We were not bothered at all by road noise, but some might be.

This is a lovely, comfortable apartment with a gas fireplace in the living room. Margaret supplies the ingredients for a very good breakfast, and even brought us a plate of Christmas cookies for our afternoon tea.

We loved the friendly welcome, the very clean space, and the breakfast foods left for us. It was quiet and peaceful. The livingroom area was comfortable for us to visit with our 2 adult children.

As we do not have cable tv at home, more clarification would be helpful on operating tv and cable access.

Convenient location for us. Nice touch from host to ensure we had recommendation for supper and provided a treat for us for breakfast.

There are lots of stairs to climb - which did not bother us a bit - but might not suit other travellers so well. Also, there was a bit of dampness, but the hosts had provided a de-humidifier to deal with that. Probably just due to the time of year.

We were amazed at how beautiful and comfortable the apartment was. Perfect for us! Margaret provided a selection of delicious breakfast foods for us to prepare. It was great! And unexpected.

We loved everything.

We loved everything ! The hospitality and generosity of Margaret and Bob were exceptional! Breakfasts so generous and tasty. They even gave us some honey from their beehives! We were very comfortable in our cosy apartment with a beautiful garden setting.

Loved it all! It’s a hidden gem!

Quiet and private little apartment upstairs. Very comfortable. Beautiful gardens with tons of birds all around. The hostess, Margaret, was so sweet and very accommodating. She even has baked goods and food for breakfast ready for us! Easy access to Highway 7/115.

Very charming spot!! Margaret and Bob went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, There is a magical court yard and I even bought two beautiful rose bushes for her garden store. I will return every chance I can get !!

The hardest for me was the stairs up to the front door and then up to the second floor, but I managed. We totally enjoyed our stay.

The flat was so cute and cozy, but there was plenty of room for four people. Maraget was so nice and provided us with bacon, eggs, bread, yogurt, bananas, tea and coffee.

That we didn’t stay longer

There isn’t enough room or time to state how much we loved this amazing gem. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Margaret made sure everything down to the delicious breakfast (homemade bread) detailing by labeling all necessary food items to the bathroom amenities and the beautifully groomed garden. The balcony overlooking the garden was frosting on the cake, making her garden shop a cherry on top.
