How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The main person at reception could have smiled a little more! It seemed like we were putting him out every time we asked for something.

The hotel needs a little bit of renovation and cleaning.
Very comfortable bed and location not far from a really nice beach. The location is good also for the calmness. After all we had a good time.

Just needed somewhere to stay before catching a very early flight. Very helpful in reception especially organising a taxi to take me to the airport in the middle of the night. Lovely to have a beautiful beach nearby for a last swim. Also great swimming pool.

The only thing I can criticize is the bathroom. The shower is very small and is separated only by a plastic curtain. It is impossible to take a shower without heating the bathroom and the plastic curtain sticking to the body... The only thing that would help would be if the shower had solid glass walls.
Great hotel for families, lot of children, playground. Lot of cats. Pool is great. Also location is very good. Shop is 3 minutes walk from accommodation. Sea about 5 minutes. Pool has small snack bar with everything you need - draft beer, Greek food and snacks. I can only recommend this hotel. the kitchen equipment was fine, the only thing missing was a frying pan, but that was resolved after a request at the reception.

Little children who screams and running by the pool until midnight, so if you looking for adults only hotel this place is not for you because you will not get rest.
Close to the beach, everyday we’ve got a clean towels, comfort beds, very nice terrace.

Very nice friendly staff, locally owned family run hotel. Breakfast was really good with lots of hot and cold options. Great swimming pool. Less than 5 mins walk to the beach.

Toilet paper is so thin. Because of neighbour room’s air condition voice disturbed us all night.
Clear rooms and toiletes. Good breakfast. Location is perfect.

air-conditioning was only in bedroom, Internet was intermittent, balcony was not private, not enough printed information at reception.

Not a big complain but there are many guests with kids and it may get noisy during day, especially the pool area.
Close to beach. I didn't use but has a big swimming pool. Good hotel for families with kids.

Limited public transport links. Not much privacy on rooms with terraces
Great value for money family run hotel. Despite being at full occupancy during my stay it didnt seem to busy and plenty of sun loungers to go around. Plenty of restaurants along the beach plus a handy convenience shop

The furniture and bathroom are old. Payment for Air condition
Nice pool, good breakfast, Beautiful surounding, enough parking places, many cats, freindly staff. We could order food until 9 pm and the food was delicious. There is a close Supermarket and a nice Beach.

Nothing really. Everything we needed was at our disposal.
Very friendly staff. Nice pool. Clean rooms. Close to the sea, supermarket, resteaurants and bars. This was our third visit and we're planning to return!

The furniture was not in good condition, and the cupboard had a very bad smell.

We had to pay extra for air con ( and safe if we wanted to use it )
Family run hotel, all friendly. Big room , comfy bed, balcony with table and chairs. Nice big swimming pool plenty of sun loungers. Beach a few minutes walk, supermarket across the road. The hotel does a shuttle service to the airport which we used cheaper than local taxi.

Bland breakfast. Extra charge for air conditioning. No electricity when outside the room, fridge included. Small shower.
Pool and pool-side bar. Location is near bus stop, beach and store. Great staff. Room is large.
