The home is a little tired and run down, though very charming nonetheless. There was no lock on the room door.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. He prepared a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed the camaraderie of eating family style with the other guests. Lots of interesting conversations and stories told .

Beautiful, quiet setting, yet quite close to downtown St. Andrews. Our host, Don, was so kind, warm, friendly and helpful. We stayed longer than we'd planned chatting with him!

We picked the room on the main floor due to physical issues and the small single beds were a bit creaky (like the house)

Lovely old house tucked away in the woods above St Andrews by the Sea. Bit creaky and musty which is part of its charm. Very clean and being lovingly restored.

The host is very thoughtful and personable. He was knowledgeable about local attractions and restaurants. The 120 year old house has interesting furnishings. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and the attached bathroom convenient. Don prepared a sumptuous breakfast for us. The property is a 10 minute drive from the main street of St. Andrews. We liked that it was on a woodsy road, away from the touristy part of the peninsula.

Quirky and beautiful 1800 farmhouse BnB. Quite, off the beaten path feel but right off the main road. Homey and comfortable. Felt like I was staying at a family member's home.

There is no airco, but that should be clear, if you decide to book this.

We arrived expecting something not quite as much out of the country...but really, it was only a few minutes from St Andrew, a wonderful tourist area.

Breakfast was exceptional! Fresh fruit bowl, hot coffee, great croissant and home made jam. Even offered bacon and eggs! Don, our host, joined us for coffee. Couldn't have been a better host.
