Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, but doesn't quite live up to those expectations. Various things in the room needed repair and the rooms on the 2nd floor have steps inside the rooms without railing or proper lighting which cause major trip hazards at night. The lobby does not have toilet facilities for guest/visitors. Breakfast is minimal (pastries/coffee), and the person overseeing the breakfast did little to replenish anything or clean up during the hours of the breakfast service. Ended up getting breakfast elsewhere 2 out of 3 days.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. It's within walking distance of sights such as Mount Royal and the Fine Arts Museum. There are also various good dining options nearby in a range of prices. Highly recommend the French restaurant right next door! Old Montreal if about 30 minutes walking, ca. 15/20 minutes on the subway or a 10 minute car ride. We traveled as a group of 4 friends and rented the two available suites, which worked great for our purposes.

SwitzerlandBeware of two things: 1) some of the upper rooms have a huge window in the ceiling that cannot be blinded. So if you're someone who cannot sleep with daylight make sure you will not get one of those rooms (daylight starting at around 4:30 am in June). I was lucky (and they were nice) so I was re-allocated to another room. 2) Note that the only thing separating the (huge) shower from the bed is a glass wall. So if you're traveling with someone who is not intimately close this may be weird. There's a curtain you can use... but still :)

CanadaCoffee in the room not grand and really no where close by to grab great coffee in early am to enjoy with the pastries provided by hotel. Pastries are a nice touch but without great coffee...maybe skip this offering.
Great location in downtown to take in a game, shopping on St. Catherine, and or enjoying great restaurants. Restaurant attached to hotel is excellent, weekend brunch and ability to dine late 10 pm, with superior service and fabulous food after a hockey game was very much enjoyed. Hotel has a cool vibe, spacious rooms, and is clean. Beds comfortable with quality linens. Staff were very welcoming.

United StatesA croissant and a pain chocolat do not constitute a proper continental breakfast. It is convenient that these are delivered to your room, but I want a real breakfast with juice and other options, even jam for the pastries. I feel that the breakfast was misrepresented.
I actually liked walking through the lobby of the beautiful hotel next door which you have to use to access the parking.
