Phoned to make sure I got a ground floor room, when I checked in my room was on the 2nd floor. Lucky they weren't full and they changed my room. Would have had to go to another hotel if they couldn't.

They were short on staff so the front desk person also was the breakfast person. You just had to ask for food as it ran out but they were really attentive to requests.

Amit, the night clerk welcomed us warmly and the gentleman working the next morning was also pleasant & knowledgeable. Liked the fact that w restaurants were on site.

Oddly enough, the bathroom sink in our room was plumbed in reverse! The cold water came out on the hot side and vice versa. Not that hard for us to adapt to but it's a potential hazard for sure. Also, my usual gripe, the shower control has no throttle: it's full blast or off, those are your only options. At a time when hotels around the world ask guests to save water, here's a simple solution, use a proper valve that allows you to control the flow. It's not like this technology hasn't been around for decades!

Love the location, less than a minute off the highway, easy to find, this gem is easily our favourite in this price range. It's super comfortable, clean, and the India Kitchen restaurant on site serves some the very best food we have had.

Out of the hotel’s control but, some of the noisy guests. It is amazing how some people are so clueless to the amount of noise they make and lack of respect for others.

Staff very personable and helpful, basic breakfast needs which was perfect for our preferences. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was cold- the floor was like walking on ice even with the heater on. The breakfast was good but it would be more convenient if it was self serve.

It was very quiet, it was great for my dog as well. Staff were friendly.

Nothing really. Maybe extend the hours at the breakfast bar to 10 am as some people rise a little later if on vacation. This was our first visit to Medicine Hat and I would recommend this hotel. Time did not permit to use the restaurant which we would have liked to try.

The price was good as were the facilities. The breakfast area was clean and there were plenty of choices. We were attending our grandson’s first hockey tournament but weren’t willing to pay the prices at the MH Lodge where the team was staying as we are seniors. In between games I was able to visit stores across the street. Our daughter visited us at the hotel and remarked how much nicer it was than the Lodge at a way better price. It was easy to get to the games in Redcliff.

The staff is very friendly. It's a good location for us, central to everything that we needed. The breakfast was OK. Same hot options each day and no fresh fruit available, but overall a great value for the money.

Can hear noisy neighbours. No bathroom vanity. The sink takes up all the vanity; no soap dish; only 1 bar of soap for the sink and bath. The kleenex tissues are like crinkly paper that disintegrate when you use it.

Breakfast was good; we weren't informed that it closed at 9:00 am, so stayed longer to finish our breakfast; we weren't told that there was a free breakfast. Room was good. Bed was comfortable.
