The windows were propped open by blocks for excellent air flow but the unit was on the ground floor and we considered open windows at that level to be a safety issue. An air conditioner in the room provided air circulation when closing the windows but the air flow vents were very dirty.

Although this property didn’t look like anything special upon arrival we found the rooms to have been carefully planned and well appointed, clean and comfortable. A modest but adequate breakfast is conveniently ordered via QR code and picked up at the office at a chosen time. We found the communication excellent and the breakfast system efficient.

Not a big deal, but as with most places there really wasn't any room to lay out our suitcase other than the bed. But not a big deal for a one night stay

Aug 4/22. Good room. Nothing fancy, but it was perfectly fine for the one night. Very impressed with the condiments that were in the room. Not only the usual coffee supplies, but an actual sugar container, and salt and pepper shakers, a toaster (never seen a toaster in a hotel room), lots of jam, and in the fridge lots of butter/margarine and even cream cheese! You order the ($10) complimentary breakfast using your phone and barcode that they send you (so be found on wall beside door if I recall correctly). Order anything up to $10 (everything has a dollar value) (pay extra if you want more). I believe we ordered bagel (toast it in your room), hard boiled egg, juice, fruit... can't remember what else. Coffee was included (no extra charge I believe) indicate if you want cream which they will also be included. Tell them what time you want your breakfast and it is ready for pickup at the front office the next day. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but it was sufficient for our needs. I loved that it was keypad entry -- no more keys and cards to have to worry about carrying with you or losing!! More hotels need to do this. We found a beach (Pomquet) about 20 minutes away (Atlantic Ocean). It was so refreshing on the hot days (every day was hot during out 2 week NS stay). Drove around the town of Antigonish which is actually about 10 minutes away (so not right in town), but very easy to get to. Didn't spend any time walking around the town as we were only there overnight. But did see St. Francis Xavier University. As with a few other places, it was nice to just drive right up to our room - not have to lug our suitcase through the hotel and up elevators. Nice to be able to go back and forth to car if you don't want to bring everything in, or if you forget something. These type of hotels will now be my go to places of stay when possible.

The room was small and cramped. The included breakfast was very difficult to eat since they don’t have a breakfast room. We had to order the night before and pick it up at the motel reception in the morning. EverThe weather allowed for us to sit outside to eat it. Since we had a corner Tom there was no table and bench outside our room so e we went to the next closest and that was right outside the window of the room next door . I don’t think I would have liked it if someone sitting talking outside my window. The staff were not particularly friendly. They got whatever you needed but talking the bare minimum. I live in a tourist town and I know that you have to answer the same questions over and over again but you have to remember that people are looking for a good experience with friendly encounters along with their travels.

The room was clean. The mattress was comfortable. Even though it was in the middle of nowhere it was right across the road from a very popular restaurant called Mother Webb’s, so we had a good dinner.

These were the last rooms available when we booked. We had 3 rooms at the back side of the hotel. Room was small, bathroom was small. Everything was very clean and bed was comfortable. It was all we needed for a quick stop over. We have stayed in this motel before and had rooms at the front, which I prefer as they are more spacious.

There are seats set up outside the rooms. People from rooms both sides of us all met up and sat all evening talking loudly, which was annoying.
