Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only downside was the overly loud central heat/air that was constantly coming off and on and was VERY LOUD in doing that. Running the controls to adjust didn't seem to help. It was on and off multiple times per hour and made it difficult to sleep. There was no FAN ONLY mode which would've been preferred.
Location, location, location! It is perfect for exploring Old Quebec City. We could walk anywhere we needed. Loved the concierge service. Staff was great. We had drinks one night and the prices were comparable to old QC area.

Great location - but not super great - would have been better if closer to Chateau Fremont. Observer very limited number of staff but hotel was also not highly occupied. Staffs were knowledgeable and seems to be multitasking with various hotel operations. Seemed more like a boutique hotel than Marriott.

United StatesThe parking is difficult and you cannot access your car if you need to retrieve something. It does not have as many amenities as other Marriotts I have visited.
The location for walking around the Old City was excellent. There were many restaurants to choose from and many sites to see without having to drive. The hotel had clean rooms and pleasant lobby areas to sit and relax.

SingaporeMain bar downstairs was closed. Room heater / air conditioning was on the noisy side. Next door office building lights on all night so you need to pull the curtains when you sleep.
Location was good. Main reception staff and concierge were very helpful, cheerful and overall wonderful service. Just off Rue St Jean where there is good selection of restaurants.
