It would be great if the wellness amenities could stay open a bit later in the evening. Being able to unwind after a long day is important, and having access to these facilities in the evening would enhance the overall experience. Whether it's a late swim or a relaxing spa session, extended hours would provide guests with more flexibility to enjoy these amenities at their own pace.

It was confusing to check in (we received no information ahead of time where to go, etc). Pool is only open until 8 pm? We left the facilities cleaner than we arrived.

Great location! We would stay again due to the ski access and being trailside, but it was nicer in the photos than in real life. Hot was nice though!

The cabins aren’t at all soundproof, and the hot tub is really small for the number of people in the hotel. They should have many more options to make this workable for the guests. Also not accessible to the town - you have to drive everywhere.

It was a between seasons weekend, and the restaurant was closed. Other than the continental breakfast, there was no food or drink available. This meant driving for meals in town. Note: in addition to other hotels, some restaurants and shops in Sutton also closed 'between seasons" in November. We were given a "family room." Main bedroom was quite small, and price elevated as we were only offered a "family" room with a bunk bed separated from main bedroom by a wall. Would have been ok for a family with two kids, but for a couple using only the "larger" space it was cramped. Bed filled most of the room, and we were charged the rate for the full four beds.....Do not recommend this for couples. However, due to the fact that other hotels closed for this "off season" weekend in November so this one was full, we had no option. Suggest the hotel offer this room at a lower price for couples, if there are no two person rooms available.

Property has been modernized. It's clean and generally comfortable. Good location. Lovely views but not walking distance from town. Staff very friendly and responsive. Nice lounge area and indoor pool.

The sauna is only available between 9am-7pm. When we arrived at 6pm, it was not heated. Which was disappointing because we picked this place specifically for the sauna. The continental breakfast was fine except the sliced fruits were a couple of days old. It was dull and rubbery.

The room has no refrigerator, travelling with kids, that's a big detractor. The restaurant menu was great for adults, not so much for kids. The one sauna on the premises only sits 4 people,, not as serene having to share that space with complete strangers. The room was very tight, with not much room to put out your own things. All thought it technically had an extra room with the bunks next door, it didn't feel like we had "adult space". Overall,, it was clean and quiet,, but lacking a few things that would make it a much more comfortable stay.

Our arrival day was on December 24th, Christmas Eve. We were planning to have a Christmas dinner in the hotel's restaurant. But they forgot to tell us that since December 23rd they had a power outage in this area due to extreme weather conditions. There were no electricity, no water, no heating in the chalet!!! They could have sent us at least a short email. We had a long flight from overseas travelling with a small child. All the shops were already closed at the time of our arrival to the property. They haven't even provided emergency water supply in the chalet and we couldn't buy it anywhere. We had to go to the main building to get some water . They tried to heat the chalet with wood burner before our arrival. But no sorry, no discount for this night we slept in our clothes and used wood burner to keep the chalet somehow warm. Terrible unacceptable level of service and hospitality. The power was back only next afternoon. The chalet we stayed in was infested with mice, we saw a lot of mice droppings and heard scratching noises in the night. It was way too close to the nature than we expected.

Nice and cosy cottage in the forest with all basic facilities, spacious but quiet basic for the price they ask.

The reception girl who did our check in on Oct 03 and check out on Oct 04 is very nice and help. Because we forgot our cellphone chargers at hotel, so we called hotel and went back hotel on Oct 05 to get them. We had very bad experience with another reception girl on duty. She did not want to help, just say she know nothing. It took us a lot effort to get our chargers back, which were inside a draw under reception desk.

The room was disapointing for the price, not very cozy, no fridge to keep items cold (only an ice machine down the long hallway) Pool was closed for renovations which we had been looking forward to.

Property maintenance 4 wheeler driving in front of windows in AM. It seems there was a tennis court before, would be nice to have it again. Pool terrace was not ready - I know they are still renovating as newish owners. Mold may become an issue with water touching wood on floor in pool area. Saw a larger crack in pool wall too. Corridor felt a bit like a school corridor so could be a bit more lively. Knocking at door at door to do cleaning services and we forgot to put Do not disturb sign.

Room was new, nice and cozy. Bunk beds were fun for kid and appreciated, gives privacy to parents. Breakfast was simple nice, having it outside is great, may need more staff to replenish. Pool was quiet and so zen with trees around. Close to Sutton village. Fire pit outside is a nice touch.
