No air conditioning, heating unit was broken and set to heat. We requested a fan when first arriving to our room, it did not make a difference. Staff came to check on room, the thermostat was stuck and broken reading to 27c and still pumping out heat. They did not have another room available of the same accommodation size. I was getting sicker by the minute in the room, so we decided to stay only one night and get refunded the rest of the stay. The Owner was away and had to give approval on everything. Awhile later we got upgraded to an apartment suite for no additional charge, but it was booked after our first night. The finishes in the rooms were poorly completed and overall not well maintained. The finishes in the upgraded room were not completed or poorly done. This upgraded suite was on a floor by itself with one exit , a set of wooden stairs which was shared with the suite above. Overall, the staff on site were wonderful, and tried their best. Mikayla the manager was great, but was limited by what she had approval to do.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE!!! The bed was a double not a queen as stated in our booking. NO air conditioning and the heat was miserable also no windows to open to get any air. No hangers to hang up our cloths. No blinds to block out the building night lights. We had to hang towels over the door window to block out the glare. The pillows were dime store quality making it a miserable sleep. Breakfast was garbage and the coffee was like a glass of water. We are VERY EXPERIENCED TRAVELLERS and this was the worst OVERPRICED place we have ever stayed at in the world. The toilets need replacing as they are the very old squat low ones. We are very surprised that you would have them as one of your recommended places to stay. The price on this place should be $10.00 a night or less, it was worse than any hostel we could imagine.

The staff was the only acceptable part of the whole experience.

The staff was friendly and informative. Suzanne, the manager, was very helpful and accomodating. The bed was very comfortable. We received a bagged breakfast with the room rate which we enjoyed enjoyed at a beach picnic. Morning coffee was fresh brewed and excellent. We will return.

We were completely satisfied with this motel even though it was older. The price was good and location worked for us. We would stay there again if we visit Yarmouth.

Older property but clean and nicely located and easy to find. The staff was awesome and more than just friendly but willing to satisfy our needs including bringing us fresh brewed coffee in the morning.

The property is dated and needs renovation. The lights in our rooms were bulbs hanging from the ceiling. We requested breakfast at 7:30 and waited until 8:00 and had to leave without seeing our brown bag breakfast.

The view of the lake was lovely. It was located close to the CAT Ferry dock. The check-in receptionist was friendly. The room was clean.

Water was cold in shower, minimal electrical outlets, wifi routers equipment all in our room, no shelves in fridge and late night checkin of group leaving lights on vehicle and running with loud exhaust

The beds were really comfortable,was a great size room. It was pretty quiet other then traffic from the nearby road. The staff were so friendly.

The room had a old musty/mouldy smell and had very little air circulation. My husband has asthma and couldn't sleep or breathe very well due to the lack of air flow and the musty smell from the room. Unfortunately we will not be staying there again.

It was a convenient location to local shops and businesses. Upon arrival and departure the staff were friendly.
