The room needed to be cleaned better (dust on shelves) and stocked better (more toilet paper and towels). The pools needed to be maintained better. They need to be cleaned of debris and the lights in the hot pools were not working (a safety hazard). Also, for this price they should offer a free breakfast.

Location, the pool area, the staff. The room was ready early for check in and the staff went out of the way to make our stay so special.

There is no free wifi. For what one is paying to stay at the hotel, where is free wifi (as is provided EVERYWHERE else in currently society)?? I was not paying for wifi - I used my personal hotspots. Come on Fairmont, get with the times. If I was ever traveling for work or “working remote” and taking a little vacation at the same time, knowing this Fairmont would not be my first choice.

Fantastic location, clean, and mostly comfortable. There was a guest down the hall that left their dog in their room late at night and the dog was barking. Staff were not responsive for a long time - and this was a significant problem. I am all about pets being able to travel with their companions, but barking for hours late at night is not acceptable.

it’s getting dated, the beers and drinks are over priced, the snack bar is overpriced. need better accommodations for smokers. the restaurant menu should change more often with daily specials.

All the pillows had a stale smell, it was very uncomfortable the first night. When checking out, the gentlemen only apologize and did not try to offer any discount. The evening bar did not allow guess to order food and take back to the room. You can only call for room service, and force customer to pay $5 fee for delivery. A little disappointing.

I do love the pool and the hot tub. The overall hotel is very comfortable, not as grand as I had expected from the other Fairmount properties. The cleaning staff is very kind and nice. Just asked for towels, and bathroom accessories, I did not need cleaning or change bedsheets.

very expensive for pretty average hotel. the coffee shop was closed which was a pain if you wanted to spend time by the pool - you couldn’t get a drink or sandwich without having to get dressed and go into town. bed was small

In my opinion, at $39.00 + tax per day for valet parking (the only way to park), I would not put up a "tips not included" sign.

I was with a stroller but found that was very difficult to go out of the building with a stroller. ALL stairs, no way for strollers except you go from the door at the back of the city.

The outdoor pools were nice. Service to the pool are good.

the decor is a bit outdated and would benefit from a refresh. the heating feels antique (an electric heater in the bathroom as the only way to warm the whole room. no temperature on the thermostat, so you have to go by trial and error)
