Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRestaurant was too busy ? Under staffed. Reviews were good but we decided to drive somewhere else to eat after waiting considerable time for someone to order. We were warned it might take a while for the server so staff were trying to forewarn us.
Spotless, huge, family suite. So difficult to find rooms for family of 5 with separate sleeping areas and kitchen facilities. This surpassed all expectations in the spaciousness and spec/decor. Pool and water slide and hot tub were great treat! We had this to ourselves after long drive from Jasper, great to unwind and kids loved this.

The staff were amazing! Helpful regarding burnt out light in our room, directions to things in the area. Even allowed us to park by the main doors as there was no stalls left and the street behind was also full.

If they would have posted something on their website about the closures, we would have had the option to choose somewhere else that had these things to offer!

CanadaI have stayed at many Best Western hotels over the years. I have always appreciated the morning breakfast provided the morning after. However, at this hotel, one of the most expensive I have ever stayed at, I was told we would receive a $15 voucher for breakfast when we checked in. In the morning, I was told no, the voucher was not included in the room rate. So, I have decided not to stay in the Premier levels anymore and stay in the more economical Best Westerns' where breakfast is included, and I am given the same message at check in and the morning after.
