The staff was super nice and accommodating to our various needs (and we were difficult guests this time, travelling with a toddler and on very short notice). The food was very good, although breakfast has some limitations. It is also a very small lodging, with a very high ratio of superbly trained staff per guest. The cleanliness is impeccable!

The roads to the lodge need maintenance.

We were disappointed that the pool did not appear very inviting, the water did not appear very clean. Our room was a deluxe double, it was adequate for our needs as a base for visiting Kruger, but is on the small size. We felt the lighting was poor annd the bedroom was quite dark, some areas, such as under the sink unit and the shower door ridges really needed a deep clean.

The staff were excellent and the service was very good. We had dinner one evening and it was very well presented and prepared. We rarely eat more than one course, so for us the set menu did not allow us enough flexibility, we would have eaten every night if this had been available. The breakfast boxes that were provided for breakfast when we went into the Kruger were excellent.

The room smelled moldy.

The size of the room was great and the staff is really friendly. We loved that breakfast packs were prepared for our early morning game drives - that was very thoughtful 😀. The locations is excellent, and although it is not inside the Kruger, it still feels like you are out there in the wild. We will definitely be back.

Other than a little torch there was no provision for lights during load shedding. Our expected peaceful venue in the Bush was disrupted for the first couple of days due to our nrighbours rowdy children. The "rocky" road to the lodge was a challenge to drive on.

The lodge is beautiful. Loved our room which was very clean. The staff were wonderful and really looked after us.

Sitting on the balcony and spotting animals was really cool, and so was the outdoor shower. The staff is great, makes you feel at home and welcome. The food was great and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Can definitely recommend!

The Property overall was very clean, and the service impeccable. Given and the receptionist was the highlight of the stay. They made us laugh and always provided good conversations. The other staff were incredible at hospitality, always asked if we wanted a drink and if we are okay and needed anything. They cater for dietary requirements i.e vegetarian and soy milk for the best coffee ever. Tanning at the pool, had the best vibe and most beautiful tree.

There were no mosquito nets available (not even on explicit request) so it was the first and only place during our Kruger trip where we got stung by mosquitos. The food was not really good, but we only stayed one night so maybe it was a bad day

Singular cabins next to one of the entrances to the National Park. Views of the river and the NP. From the cabin we saw elephants and giraffes. Magnificent sunset in the pool overlooking the NP. The owner is a good host, always aware of everyone. At night he has a community bbq with all the guests, like a campfire party. A great public relations. Great experience!
