Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaCheck in time is after 3pm and check out is before noon, leaving you paying a full day for 21 hours. Paid online snd had to pay a deposit upon arrival. Bathroom had some mould on the soap holder in the shower, heat system was off and set to sweltering temperatures

CanadaI had a pet, but he was in the room for only a few hours - I ended up bringing my dog to a friend's house for the night as I wasn't feeling well. When I checked out the next day I was charged the full $75 pet cleaning fee, even though I had mentioned he was only there for a few hours. I fully expected to pay for my pet staying, but was hoping the charge would have been lessened a bit given the short amount of time he was there.
The hotel and the room were very clean. I also liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave. And the breakfast is always a nice touch! I always enjoy staying at a Hampton Hotel.

DenmarkThe beds were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was were I’d say the smileys fell a little. Unfortunately there was a tonne of packaging. It made for a very ‘cheap’ feeling to our breakfast. Paper plates, paper cups, utensils wrapped in plastic, etc. Watching the pile of waste accumulate and the amount of garbage overflowing from the massive garbage can was quite disheartening. We liked the effort made to have a waffle machine, but the batter was very bland. Both my kids were disappointed and didn’t finish those that they made. They know how easy it is to make batter from scratch and for it to taste good - so this was a little of a disappointment. We were happy there were eggs (cheese omelettes) and bacon this time that was a bonus! The more real the better. I appreciate the effort that the breakfast has improved since the last time I was here a year ago. It would be nice to see it kicked up a couple more notches yet, to help give an overall positive, quality feeling.

CanadaThe pool seemed small compared to the photo on your site. Room was very clean but I left a note to point out that "behind the nightstand" should be checked once in a while.
Always love the breakfast and comfy beds and friendly helpful staff. I really like the new (to me) policy of not cleaning room every day of multi night visits.
