Pretty pricey, especially the food but it was top notch.

Beautiful property even though they are just getting ready for summer. Docks not in water, flowers not planted but expected for early May. Great part was NO BUGS ! Room was nice and clean. Staff excellent. Food was sooo good. Location was great! Day tripped through Algonquin Park, did some hiking and sight seeing. Visited Haliburton Forest Wolf Sanctuary.

The waterfront/dock area is lovely but unfortunately not enough cots and the two we had to use were quite old and uncomfortable I feel there should be enough cots for all guests More heaters and Citronella candles for the outside dining area

Not the fault of the property at all. I really want to be clear about this first off. The one thing my wife and I didn’t like I’d that the WHOLE town shuts down at 9pm. I mean everything shuts down.

Diner menu could have a bit more choices. Noise isolation on ground floor is not great when higher floors are occupied.

For me personally, I would love if it wasn’t right next to the highway. I’m sure during parts of the year you won’t hear the cars, but I personally just like silence and to hear the trees and birds. I could hear cars the whole time. But honestly it’s not a big deal. Everything else is perfect. When you go paddle boarding or canoeing, you can travel down the lake and you won’t hear the cars at all.

Everything is wonderful. All the attention to details. The lavenders on the bath robes, the extra towels, the cleanliness and attention to Covid details, the beautiful balcony that looks over the lake. It’s so easy to access the paddle boards. It was lovely!

The bed was too soft for my taste and the room too warm even though we tried both A/C and open window with fan. Will stay again and try to get a ground floor room.

The breakfast was exceptional and the staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome.

Unbelievable that the restaurant was fully booked for dinner for our whole stay of 4 nights. You were able to book in advance but that was not possible for me. A waiting list every evening. Breakfast inside was also fully booked. You could sit at the terrace if the weather was ok.... You could have room service for dinner and breakfast but just after the Covid reopenings you don't want that. The lodges with garden view should be changed to parking view. If there were guests in the apartment above you, you can hear them walk because of the wooden floor. Not a good night rest. The (free) Wifi was poor.

The view and facilities to sit at the lake were very good.
