Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesBoth doors should work, rather than a warning that if you lock one way, the other lock doesn’t work so plan to be locked out. They also issue one key, so if you aren’t with your companion, it’s a headache to get in.
The floor is lava. Either there’s spots that feel oily or sticky on the carpet and they likely had a bathroom flood they didn’t clean up, so pretty gross stains on the floor. This was the improvement room, as the first room didn’t have a working tv, but had a little better carpets.

CanadaThe room I found to be on the dirty side. The walls were covered in scuffs and spots, there was lots of dust, the windows were very dirty, light bulbs were out, the bathroom light switch is naturally beige in colour and it was brown all around and in it from built up grime. The shower walls have yellowing all on it. The outside door connected us to the room and hall was also broken and we had to keep a piece of wood or drywall in between. Unfortunately it was taken away every morning so we had to go outside and down the stairs to get back into the main part of the hotel.
The restaurant was good. Very good food. I liked that the room had a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

CanadaThe cleanliness of the room was very poor. We found leftover food from the previous guest in a dresser drawer and the towels and bedding were stained.
Quiet hotel, close to amenities and check in was smooth. I was a bit shocked at the level of cleanliness but we only used the hotel as a spot to lay our heads.

CanadaPrice was not adequate for a place where almost every walls in the hotel has a hole or an unpainted apparent repair. Carpets are almost all due for replacement. I would have expected that from an hotel more around the 80$ range, not the price I paid for. Photos looked clean but don't actually reflect the current state of the location.
Actual room was not too bad, however the rest of the hotel lacked general maintenance with signs of long running patching everywhere.

CanadaThere was a strong smell in the room when we first walked in. It was better after we vented the room by opening both doors and turning on the bathroom fan.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet area. Location was close to the Olympic Park which made our morning travel time short and trouble-free.
