Dogs barking next or near our room. The man above our room constantly spitting over his Patio down to ours ruined our time on our Patio area.

Check in process was slow - unfortunately only one person checking people in and a lineup of at least 5 people so that took some time. it was later in the evening so I get having less staff but should have been at least some crossover or someone to support during surge times. Was assigned 3rd floor then informed we couldn’t have that room because dogs can only go to 2nd floor. So then had to wait some more for the room to be changed. On checkout, process was smooth. Requested emailed receipt. Should have gotten it printed because I still haven’t received a receipt but was charged at least $20+ more than what booking.com told me I’d be charged. Soooo not super happy about that.

Easy to find, good parking (in off-season, at least). Lobby was clean and had a water bowl for the doggos which was a nice touch. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nespresso and cream in the room - yes please! Very much appreciated. TV worked, wifi was included but we never used it so can’t speak to speeds. Rooms were fairly quiet even though the hotel was quite full. Couldn’t hear through walls but sometimes heard the odd door close. Lots of dogs but never heard any barking. Located right on the beach - gorgeous. Liked the little to-go coffee shop on site. All in all a pleasant stay.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. The hotel was clean Very nice, helpful staff. The restaurant is also great. Good food and great Margarittas. Just wish they could get Rootbeer or sasparilla at the restaurant.

Some areas of the site seem to need a little TLC. They showed some really weathering and it may the time of the year but that is a minor issue.

Excellent location with a fine restaurant. Ocean view was amazing on a clear day! The food in the restaurant was very good. I still do not understand how people like coconut encrusted Prawns? Other than this the service was very good along with the food!

Wished I'd realized an upgrade would have given us an oceanview/ocean side balcony versus the parking lot side...

Breakfast was excellent. Loved the window seating for the view.

Visited their on-site gym, while it had a good variety of equipment, it was VERY dated and several machines didn’t work all that well. The gym rooms were also in need of updating, very basic and a bit grubby.

Location was excellent overlooking the rocky beach and ocean. Easy to get to and quiet, no traffic noise.

The front desk staff was excellent, so friendly! The decorations were lovely, rooms comfy with nice bath products and an amazing view!

Limited meal options due to Christmas season. Advertised a pool and hot tub, neither were working. If we had known that we would have stayed elsewhere.

Location was good, easy check in, limited parking as the restaurant was very busy with non-guests. Nicely appointed room, very clean. Very central.

Beautiful view of beach. Room was very clean and amenities good. Really liked that there was no carpet in room. Hotel room carpets can be very gross. I liked that it was tiled. Bar was very nice.

My son and his partner liked their room but the price was much higher for this room than when I booked my room. My room had an awful outlook with a fence on top of the balcony rail and no view so I ended up paying CAD$50 more x 2 nights
