Beds could use an upgrade

Rooms were nice. Little frig kept waters cold. Staff professional, polite, and willing to accommodate us on our requests

Everything was good except for the lighting in the room. For a young person it is probably ok, but at 60+ you need better lightning.

I drive a pickup truck we chose this hotel because the underground parking was able to accommodate the height of a standard pick up truck. Most hotels downtown would not.?

They had the potatoes next to the sausages in the attached chaffing dishes so that was a put off as I am vegetarian but love potatoes

We were on the top floor, however, we were facing the side where there was construction at the adjacent building. The crew started their work early in the morning.

The room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. We had a good view. The staff is kind, specially Scott. He welcomed us and helped us with our heavy baggage. Walking distance to city center and train station

The decor and the amenities in the room were a little off-putting. I found that the lights should have been easier to use (ie. one switch for main room light). The quality of what was there was adequate, but it felt a little weird. Also, very little noise reduction between rooms. We could easily hear the people next door talking, opening and closing the doors, and using their shower. Pretty unpleasant, but maybe that's standard for hotels these days.

Really enjoyed the breakfast. The quality of the bed was pretty good as well, comfortable.

The breakfast is good, you won't leave hungry. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The beds will provide you with a good sleep. Special thanks to the friendliest and most positive staff - to May and Dan. They are booking wizards who did the impossible and found me a room when the hotel was fully booked. You saved my weekends, my sleep and my nerves, 1000 points of 10 possible :)

It’s not clear why the cleaning lady told us that our check-out is at 11:30 and said that we have to pay extra for time, although according to Booking it should be at 12:00. The conversation didn't go very well.

The view in our first room was terrible, actually there was no view at all. Staff did accommodate us for that. The parking garage was very sketchy, ceiling was so extremely low that my trunk almost hit it and part of the ceiling was broken and looked terrible. The night staff was very rude and seemed uninterested in helping us get new keys as we were locked outside because the keys didn't work. The elevator area when you first walk in from the parking garage smelled terrible.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and a great checkout time. Day staff were great (i think one of them was named Jason) and switched our room as we weren't a fan of the view from the first room (#806). The parking garage was locked and I felt my vehicle was safe while we were out. Close enough to downtown but we do wish there was more around us.

The front desk was very helpful and friendly. My daughter was on crutches and they did whatever they could to help. The morning after our stay, my car was TOWED from Jarvis St (my fault) and they were very sympathetic and helpful in resolving this with me- finding locations and phone numbers faster than I could.

I lived on the non smoking floor but still can smell it through the washroom vent when it's on, and also when walking through the hallway.

Breakfast can offer more choices, and it didn't have the To-go bags as mentioned

We weren’t too pleased when we were told that breakfast was open until 11am and went down for breakfast only to find out that 11am is weekend hours (it’s 10am on weekdays). Simple misunderstanding/miscommunication but was a little annoying since we paid for breakfast for all mornings of our stay.

Value for money. Location was good and staff were very friendly. We arrived very early, almost 6 hours before usual check in but the room was ready so they let us check in which was amazing and very much appreciated. They also gave us late check out on our departing day for no additional charge.

Should have been a chair in the room, not everyone wants to sit on the bed to see the tv.

Though the breakfast choices were numerous, some of the hot items were overcooked and not very warm. It’s also very off-putting to have only flat wooden utensils with which to eat. The fork broke while I was trying to scoop up the food.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. When we asked about nearby places to eat, one of the receptionists recommended The Blake House which was a short walk away. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was nice to have breakfast available at the hotel.
