Perhaps a light that would be a little better for reading in bed.

This is an older facility - a collection of cabins or cottages clearly built many years ago. One might expect it therefore to be dowdy, or tired. However the rooms have clearly been done over and are clean and well appointed. Also, the rooms seem larger than in many newer facilities. Finally, the value is excellent. We had an easy and enjoyable stay.

This is a very basic hotel, nothing fancy, but there was really nothing not to like about it. It met our needs and expectations. We would consider staying here again and have already booked for another stay in a couple of weeks.

The room was adequate, comfortable bed, hot shower, reasonable price. The breakfast was simple but ample. The room was clean and it was quiet. It's location is an easy drive from all the must sees and dos.

There was a power loss in the middle of the night perhaps due to bad weather however if this was a frequent occurrence then there should be emergency back up systems at least for critical items. There was no hot water or any lighting during power outage. The breakfast was really basic and the area was very cramped for the total number of guests.

Very wide grounds and lots of space. We had a dog with us which loved the space to roam around. Facilities were very pet friendly

For some reason, the hot water tap in the bathroom sink was hotter than normal. Easy enough to adjust when running the cold more, but it was a surprise when I first used it. Someone could really burn themselves if they're not careful. The shower worked fine. The wifi was mostly good. It would go off from time to time but not for long. The bathroom door was squeaky making it hard to be quiet when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I lifted it up when opening & closing the door to lessen the squeak. The only other suggestion would be to have a lower light option for the bathroom. It's really bright which I don't like when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. I'll try to remember to bring a night light next time.

The beds were comfy. We really liked the bed stand between the 2 beds as they had 2 outlets and 2 usb outlets. Plus there were plenty of plugins around the room which is very convenient considering other places we stayed where they were few and far between. Breakfast was good. They have 2 waffle makers (please read the sign that says spray with Pam or the waffle will stick making it unusable for others to use). They also have boiled eggs, toast, bagels, yogurt, bananas, coffee, tea, juice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would likely stay there again!

Bed did not have blankets, just sheets, certainly not enough to keep warm. We didn’t discover this till late and we were in pajamas. We found the spare blanket but even that was not enough. We had to use the emergency blanket from our car. This significantly affected our comfort. Beds should always have blankets and bedspreads.

There are no hooks in the room for towels or coats. Could be a nice addition as storage is very limited. No microwave or kettle in the room.

The breakfast was very basic with not many options. Also, the self-serving counter was very small and crowded with people lining up, because there was only one of each: coffee dispenser, toaster, bread container, etc.

The room was well equipped, modern and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean.

The AC is noisy and has limited options to adjust the temperature. We preferred to keep it off during our stay. Also the serving table for breakfast is very small and caused long lines to take the food. There is only one staff taking care of everything. Although he was always available to recharge the food trays, he couldn’t afford it on time . So people should keep waiting to get sone items for quite long time. Also the next room people voice can be easily heard in your room. Should be lucky to have a silent neighbor.

Heating system should be converted into a thermostat not a turn dial. Heat had to be adjusted several times during the night
