There was a loose tile in the floor already and the carpet was frayed where it transitioned to the tile by the sink.

Our room was renovated and more modern looking. The bath room was clean. The carpets were clean.

A bit noise proofing over the window would help.

The location and simplicity of access. The front desk was very helpful to accommodate our request for a ground floor room due to mobility issues of a senior member of our family. Also they allowed almost 2 hours late check out.

Cogeco TV remote did not function. Roku TV remote only gave us CBC news, nothing else. Good thing we came to our room late and were too tired to watch TV

The bath tub drain was very slow. As with all motels, I find the A/C - heater was noisy. It worked fine so no issue that way.

It is close to downtown as well as to other restaurants and food shopping. Staff very helpful when required. Beds were quite comfortable.

The door when opening hits the low ceiling on top and jams. Scary especially the first time opening the door. Difficult to properly open the door.

For just 2 night's stay it wasn't a big deal for us, but for longer stays perhaps - there are no drawers for clothing in this room. Something we've encountered the past few years and a pet peeve of ours, is not having any sheer curtains in motel rooms as well as the heavier light-blocking set. When we get up we like to have the light in the room but do NOT appreciate everyone being able to see directly in our room.

Our room ( #4 ) seemed like it had recently been renovated giving it a pleasing fresh modern style. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. I had the best sleep I've had in quite some time. Small noises keep me awake so I really appreciated that the small fridge was so quiet. The A/C while not super quiet, didn't keep waking me up as most do. There seemed to be good sound-proofing as we barely heard the guests above or beside us. Nice large screen tv. We enjoyed the comfortable chairs and small table as it was perfect for playing our board game one evening. Lots of counter space in the separate bathroom vanity area with nice lighting. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Arriving at the motel, my heart sank a bit. It is right on the main drag and it looks very run down. Concrete crumbling and in great need of a paint job. Very stark contrast to the room!

There was no breakfast - at least no one told us there was. The location is within walking distance of the Main Street and the room was very clean and updated.

It was expensive for what we got, especially as no breakfast was included. When renovating, no new glass was installed so there was a lot of noise from the road. As there was no elevator, I had to carry all luggage up the stairs.

The Inn is close to Algonquin National Park and there several shops and restaurants in the area. The room had lately been renovated.

Bath tub drain backed up both days there. Room 27. Only enough towels for one day. Had to call for second day to get towels. No room cleaning between days.
