We were lucky to stay on a night when many guests wanted the host to cook. They served a delicious French Moroccan meal, served family style in the galley area of the boat. It was a wonderful experience and well worth the money. The host and hostess were friendly and helpful. The rooms were as expected, small with bunks, because that is the experience we wanted - to be on this old sea vessel.

    Wish we had longer there.

The tug was fabulous, such a unique experience. Enjoyed meeting, and hanging out with, Bouchra, her husband Daniel and her sister on the tug and dancing with locals to live music by the water. Unfortunately we arrived too late to partake in dinner and left too early to get our breakfast the next morning due to taking the Lady Rose Marine sailing to Bamfield. (Which was wonderful too) Great location to catch the boat, a few minutes walk away.

The matresses were quite sunken in. The room was very small, which is understandable due to being on a boat, but it was hard to move around and we were unable to store our luggage.

Great location, amazing hosts and amazing breakfast.

Our cozy cabin grew a little sruffy on the warm night we were there (we were at sea level despite being in the middle of Vancouver Island), but our cabin had a small fan that would have aided in some cross ventilation had we remembered to turn it on.

Breakfast was amazing and will be something we try to reproduce at home. The room sizes are cozy, not large, but this is a tug boat! Mattresses were great. The experience was especially memorable because we were able to take advantage of being there for the Moroccan dinner (not offered every night). Truly a highlight of our week-long trip to Vancouver Island. We will talk and reminisce about this experience long into the future.

My husband and I stayed two nights on the floating inn while visiting our friends in Port Alberni. It was out of curiosity that I booked this floating B&B. What a uniquely awesome experience we had! Daniel and Bouchra are caring friendly hosts who are passionate about what they do. Bouchra even accommodated our request to make dinner for us and our 3 local friends on her otherwise off day! She explained all the ingredients and spices she used on her delicious and healthy dishes, she truly cooked with her heart. The room was small but the beds were comfortable. Swept Away Inn is a hidden gem, we will for sure return again.

Nothing to dislike - there is the reality of it being a converted tugboat, so the sleeping and living spaces are relatively small.

The hosts were extremely nice, personable, and hospitable, made you feel well taken care of. The B&B&B (Bed & Breakfast & Boat) was very cool, a unique experience with both world history or personal passion built into it. Gem of Port Alberni for sure; highly recommend for a stay or dining.

If you like ships and the sea, this is a must to go place. Very special. The hosts are very kind and make you feel very welcomed. Very good and freshly cooked breakfast. Even though it´s not a bargain, compared to the prices in Tofino it´s still very good value for money and you can easy go for and back to the coast on the same day. Don´t expect the sapce of a 5star hotel, it´s a ship ;-).....
