Room is fairly no-frills so expect basic room.

Bill and Lisa were very nice during my lovely stay. They were giving me some good suggestive travel tips, and the location is only mins drive away from the tidal bore observation site. Good value. Wifi is strong in the room where I stayed.

Convenience near the tidal bore activities in the river and the Bay of Fundy. Also, very close to the junction between New Brunswick, Halifax and the eastern side of Nova Scotia.

Location is great. Right off the highway and looking out over the Tidal Bore. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Nice older motel with parking right outside of your room if you are on the lower level. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi and the owners were friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced and close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an old school motel where you can park right outside the room. Nothing fancy but has all you need for an overnight accommodation. Water pressure is a little on the weak side but got the job done. Air conditioning and fridge were both on when we arrived so no waiting for things to cool down. Plenty of places outside to sit and watch the tide or just relax in the evening. I had a great sleep and this was a good spot to start our Bay of Fundy experience.

Many different bugs in the room. No coffee maker and the air conditioner barely worked.

I was not in the room for long periods except at night. The cable and Wifi provided what entertainment I needed. I was not dissatisfied with the accommodations.

The location was great for access to the town of Truro as well as the highway. The room supplied all that I needed and the bed was very comfortable. A fridge was great for drink and food storage.

Very rude staff, They don’t know how talk with their visitors. There were a lady and guy to whom i talked they both have very bad attitude. If we have questions they have to answer in a polite manner. Very poor service. Highly recommend not to visit 👎🏻

Older property. It was raining heavily when we arrived and we had to carry our bags up 2 flights of wooden stairs which were kind of slippery. You can’t see the tidal bore from the property but it is a very short drive to the viewing center. to clarify, we couldn't see the tidal bore from the property because it was dark and rainy and it was a small bore, next time we'll try in better weather!

It was clean and comfortable enough for the 1 night we were there.The bed was very comfortable.

We loved pretty much everything about this traditional style inn which is a huge step up from cookie-cutter chain establishments.

Truro is a terrific location - a smooth ride away from Halifax, and a destination place in its own right. There's a bike/walking path that runs right outside the Tidal Bore Inn and leads either directly into Truro's lively downtown or out into the beautiful countryside. The tidal bore itself can easily be viewed from the Fundy Discovery Center, just about a kilometer away from the inn. The accommodating inn owner lends guests bicycles at no extra cost. There are plenty of great places to eat and/or shop at within a short distance from the inn (Italian, Thai, Lebanese, supermarket, etc.).

there are no handrails on stairs. The air condition unit had notices that could not use hair dryer or microwave at same time. Bathroom needs grab bars
