How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Comfortable bed and room. I liked that I could purchase a few cold refreshments and a small bottle of wine to bring to my room after a long day of travel. Thank you.

The tea and coffee in the rooms was not the best compared with other hotels. In the restaurant however, the coffee was good. There was nothing else we didn't like.
Comfortable, clean room. With breakfast and parking included, this made for a very good experience. The breakfast room staff were excellent, and so was the airport shuttle driver. The reception staff seemed a little 'stiff' but a notice did say they were smiling behind their masks! Overall a very nice stay and we would return.

I had some trouble with the WiFi towards the end of my stay. Not sure what the issue was. But the system would kick me out for no real reason.
I liked it. I had to quarantine there. But the staff was nice and understanding.

That the room was not cleaned everyday. The cafe was overly experience. Parking is issue there. During booking it was not mentioned that only one car would be free.
It was good experience. We had good time. Issue is parking there. Parking was stated free during booking however at the hotel we were charged for 2nd vehicle which we were not told before. Also the rooms were not cleaned everyday.

The receptionists were not friendly, the air conditioning wasn’t working, the apartment was very hot. I asked to get it fixed, they didn’t. The mattresses are very uncomfortable, on top of that they gave two double beds only for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The apartment was cleaned only once during our stay. We had to request toilet paper and towels twice! If this place goes through an administrative change it would be a great place to stay.
The hotel is beautiful, well located, apartments sizes are great.

There was a mix up at the reservation desk when we first arrived. The staff and manager were very helpful and understanding as we unravelled the problem. It was resolved and they even upgraded our room.
The room service for both supper and breakfast was very prompt, as well as delicious, and staff followed COVID protocols, The beds were fine but the bed comforter made us too warm at night. The room was great (9th floor) and sound proof so we could not hear the airplanes as they took off at the airport nearby.

My only complaint is that the facilities were off limits (gym, pool, dine in etc.) That was not hotels fault, as we are still in stage 2 due to covid. However, we did know this when we booked. It just would have been nice:)
Location was great for us, as we were visiting family in etobicoke. Brought our dog, there was lots of green space behind hotel for her walks. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely go back.

We weren't dissatisfied with anything
The hotel was in excellent shape. It was done tastefully and looked great. The hallways were clean and our rooms were spotless. My Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We will stay there again when we return next year.

Maybe a in the bathroom and a microwave in the room. Paying for parking for 1 night at 28.00 was ok but maybe if your staying for longer you could get a discount.
The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had a room looking right at the airport and we didn't hear 1 single plane taking off or landing. The pool and hot tub was a hit with both parents and kids. It was also a good size. The staff were very friendly and always smiling and saying hi when you walked past them.
