Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaHard to see as the sign was not lit and behind the trees. The lobby was acceptable but then the cleanliness dropped fast. Carpets were worn, stained and frayed. The room walls were visibly dirty, had crayon colouring and signs of damage. The floor in the corners of the bathroom was filthy with cigarette burns. The chair and ottoman were disgustingly stained.
Well....the sheets were clean and that's the only perk. I guess the grab and go breakfast food on the counter was nice I suppose.

CanadaNothing at all actually my room was so dirty my 3 year old was supposed to sleep on the pull out couch but there were dead bugs in the dirty sheets not too mention mentioned to front office they didn't care to move my room nothing they told me if I thought this room was dirty then I wouldn't be happy with any other room I didn't receive my deposit of 155 dollars back it's stunk the people above kept my daughter up all night from noise I'm so unhappy about the stay I would like to speak with someone about this I would like either a room somewhere credited or rembersed it was the WORDT stay in a hotel

Can't get to ac unit because couch was too big. Couch badly worn out. Cheap laminate flooring chipping. Freezer in fridge has 2" of frost. USB jack next to bed broken. Closet door can't be opened . Moldy shower/tub. Torn and badly worn carpet in hallway. Broken ceiling tiles all along hallway.

CanadaYou have to realize this is not a 5-star property, so expect that the carpet is worn, the desk chair has been well used. Some of the fixtures could use updating. However, this is an excellent property for the price. I would certainly stay again.
Free breakfast was great (and healthy). Fresh fruit also available. A non-working bedside lamp was replaced immediately with a new one. The bed was super comfy and had lots of pillows. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The air-conditioning worked great. Nice to have fridge, microwave, cable TV and wi-fi, all free.

Canadathe room was filthy: Sheets dirty, bathroom full of mold (bath tub, around the sink and …), carpet was not vacuumed and full of dirt. Mattress was bad, had gone down in the middle Hallways smelled like weed even though it was non smoking During our stay we heard staff knocking hard on the door next to our room and fighting with the guest there. And saying they will call the police if they don’t leave. Overall disgusting place. At least make an effort and clean the rooms. Will not go back even if free.
