Great room, great location, it was perfect for our family. Liked the space kitchen with table, and the heritage feel of the property. The tea coffee and meal is a really nice touch. Thank you. And of course that you are pet friendly :)

Not necessarily that we didn't like it but the bathroom was tight and the sink was extremely small but functional.

Location, price , amenities and overall comfort of the place. Easy to get around. The host was extremely nice and welcoming, she ensured we were settled and helped us find our parking. Loved that we had a designated parking space and could just walk around the area.

Sidewalk to car park was a bit slippery after snow - but hardly the hosts fault!

Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. Some nice touches of local tea and coffee plus a few sweets and staples. Nice soaps and shampoo. Warm and cosy in a great location off Baker St. Close to fabulous restaurants!

The bathroom and shower were on the small side, with a pedestal sink so the only place to store toiletries was on the toilet lid. We stayed on the first floor which was fabulous for the first 2 nights when we were the only guests. On our third night there were guests in the suite above us. As it is an old house and the floors creak, there was a lot of noise when the guests came in after we had gone to bed. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend a suite on the second floorl

Great location! Just one street behind Baker Street, the main dining/shopping street. Walking distance to everything we needed. The suite was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable, The guesthouse is very pet friendly and the neighbourhood was great for walking the dog.

Nothing. We had a little trouble getting in the keypad entry, but phoned Cathy Ann who solved the problem right away.

We had verandah suite looking onto beautiful garden, and although property is right on edge of downtown Nelson noise does not disturb. Great location, perfectly equipped kitchen with generous basic food items provided and large living room with comfortable bed and quirky furnishings. Accommodation spotlessly clean. Super cool!

The only thing I didn’t like it to have to trash the garbage below our unit, while the other tennants are resting at their portion of porch, but they were super friendly! Really nice people? So made it less awkward… the hand soap was way to diluted but was easy to fix… I would definitely will be happy to go back! Easy to access and everything else was fantastic.

The property is great, the attention to details to provide shampoo, conditioner and also pasta and sauce for an emergency! Pillows very comfy too. The balcony is nice! The stair to access the unit are very sturdy! Easy to walk to downtown. The owner provided the code way ahead of time for peace of mind and respond very fast too, has another nice detail to put your last name at the door as a welcoming! Very nice … oh and the kitchen has all you need. Excellent

In the main bedroom the curtains were very flimsy and did not block out much light. All 3 beds had hard mattresses; it would be useful if one of the 3 had a softer mattress to allow those who prefer that to have a choice. The biggest downside was the noise from people in the room above moving about. The floors and building are wooden so we heard every step. After the first night we were considering moving out as the people upstairs could not keep still. Luckily they departed, and the next couple seemed much more aware of the impact of movement. However we could still hear them clearly.

Nelson is a lovely town, with plenty to see and do. The property was very close to the town, but not disrupted by the noise or people visiting. Having off street parking was vital, as we saw very strict parking enforcement officers in action. There was plenty of space in our rooms, with a very well equipped kitchen area; everything we needed was there.

Very little wrong and nothing that would stop me from fully recommending this property. Despite overall spacious areas one of the limitations of an older property meant there was little space for creating work surfaces in the kitchen. The shower and bathroom were also a little cramped . Nothing too problematic though

A lovely Victorian period building. A great veranda with comfortable furniture. The room was spacious,well equipped with a very comfortable bed. A good range of equipment in the kitchen and nice toiletries in the bathroom.. There were some kitchen basics like coffee, salt,pepper, olive oil, vinegar etc. Confused by "mountain time" we arrived an hour earlier than scheduled yet they were able to ensure that we were able to get in the accommodation quickly. One of the nicer places that we have stayed on our current trip. Very close to Downtown Nelson
