the bed was atrocious....a double bed is a rarity, it was 'lumpy', uncomfortable. you need to start putting in at the very least 'queen' size beds with firm mattress. the TV was in a terrible position to view.

It felt quite expensive for what it was. No views but that's difficult to change.

It was a self container unit with well equipped kitchen and the bed was comfy. The staff was also so friendly and helpful.

Street noise was a lot at night if facing street. On The Expensive side, considering I had to take out my own garbage and clean the dishes.

The room was clean, the size was good as there were only two of us. We never used the beach but it is very close for anyone who wanted to use it.

Only minor criticism regarding cleaning. I would suggest a good sweeping of the walls, corners and ceilings of cob webs.

Location, accommodation, staff, guests was all perfect for our family. Shared 2 bedroom suite, second floor with our adult son and his wife. The primary bedroom with ensuite bath allowed them their privacy with a door separating their space from main living space which had kitchen, dining area, living room, another full bathroom and our bedroom. Balcony overlooking river was breathtaking. Cha was only staff we met and she was so welcoming and was happy to accommodate our request for earlier check in. She sent a text night before stay letting us know we could check in 2 hours sooner and even come earlier just to park and enjoy the outdoor space, which is amazing. Beautiful intimate backyard ambiance overlooking river with a variety of seating, from Muskoka chairs in the sandy space or under trees, to dining tables and couches in the green space. Also lovely walk across the road to beautiful Georgian Bay Beach area 2. There is also a road to beach across street so you can load up your car with all your beach stuff, drop off, take car back to motel and return to beach within a matter of 15 minutes and hopefully family has already set everything all up! Also, this is a family friendly environment. None of that late night nonsense Wasaga can be known for.

Having to leave

I almost don’t want to right a review, because I don’t want others knowing how wonderful this place is. The location is to die for, right between the river and the beach, walking distance to the beach and a short walk to the main strip. The rooms are large, spacious, clean and have everything you could need. BBQ’s, basketball and plenty of green space to enjoy. The manager Cha is fantastic too. So kind and responsive to your needs. She really made the stay that much more enjoyable with her warm and friendly personality. we will be back again and again and again 🤗

I wish there was a campfire, but I get it it’s a small area outside.

Cha was excellent and so was everyone else. We had an amazing time, we felt welcome and the place was beautiful! We will definitely be back. It’s clean regulars all stay there it’s quiet and close to the beach. My husband and son just got back and we had an amazing week! Thanks for everything! See you next time! The place has everything you need and suite was lovely. Customer service here is 10/10!

The location is excellent. The two bedroom suite is large and extremely clean! The beds are sooo comfortable and the view of the river is beautiful!

We could have used more pots and pans . Dishes needed a strainer for food . Can opener was from the 19hundreds !!! Lol more glasses needed a sharper knives to cooked also When added I got it .

Enjoyed the views of the river and the outdoor areas. Great place to relax with a morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine. Close, easy access to the beach!

Nothing. Everything it was great!

We rested with a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. The beach is very nice and is a two minute walk from the hotel. Many thanks to Madame Cha for her kindness. If there were any questions or wishes, we could easily turn to her and she was happy to help us.

The television quality was very poor and snowy . When it rained and we were stuck indoors.

The property was well maintained, the office attendant was a super friendly! Was nice to sit by the river and yet so close to the beach as well. I would return in a heartbeat.

We were surprised not to have recycling facilities in the room or on the premises at all. We were told that Everything goes into the large bin out back, and that the private company collects it all together then recycles it at their facility. To be determined... Our room (103) could have a few more kitchen supplies to accommodate a large group who want to cook (large mixing bowls, large spoons, spatulas, juice/water container for the fridge, a couple more sharp knives, an extra pan, tea pot, kettle, etc.). The kcup machine was ok for a quick coffee but some of us prefer tea (and the ability to steep it) or hot chocolate. A few more cleaning supplies would mean guests could tidy up better after themselves as well.

The staff (especially Cha!) were amazing. They resolved our issues immediately and provided top notch service with a smile. The rooms are well built to keep the noise to a minimum (even facing the street). The BBQs were clean and access to the river was a bonus for kayaking. The ground floor room provided easy access to our cars and BBQ.

Very close to beach 2. Rooms were clean. The manager Cha was great and extremely helpful, she is good at making the customers feel welcomed. Great experience especially if you want an upscale place to stay in Wasaga. Great for families.
