The climate control is not working really well, its fairly warm in the room, temperature difficult to manage.

It felt like a casino with a hotel tacked on the side. The reception had just one person so in the morning I gave up queuing to check out and just left my room key. Still haven’t had my receipt two days later.

On our last day, one of our group was feeling really poorly and we had to arrange to have a lot later check out, with our flight not till 2140. 27 Nov two ladies on reception and had a completely different experience, felt I was an inconvenience and facial expressions on both staff stern and not welcoming. Quote 50 CHF from Alexandra for the room till 1600. Checked with my work colleague who was poorly. Came back to reception to pay, was told now 100 CHF by the 2nd lady , was shocked and did not want to make a scene to peruse price quoted only 10 minutes earlier. Friend too ill and we were concerned. Paid 100 CHF

Arrived 25 Nov late after 2100, greeted by two male friendly reception staff. Location great for transport to and from Airport and Basel. Rooms spotless, good size. Bar staff friendly. Shuttle to airport was really welcome and driver friendly, as one of our party was not feeling well with flu symptoms

Really friendly and welcoming staff. Room was spotless. Lovely choice at breakfast. Complimentary Basel transport ticket was much appreciated.We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel while we explored Basel before our return flight. We will be returning to this excellent hotel.

It was raining really hard when I checked out, and I had to catch the bus to the airport in the rain. The reception staff could have offered to lend me an umbrella or help out in some other way, especially since I had a young child with me, but they didn't. We had to stand in the pouring rain so we wouldn't miss the bus

There was nothing I did not like. They know taxit, buses etc. They are kind and helpful at all times.

They were really amazing to us. We spent one night there and called the room service at 11pm to get some fruit. They were out of fruit but one of the staff surprised us with his own - knocking on the door. They are really kind, very much appreciate them!
