We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The booking was easy, friendly and efficient. We were well looked after with very willing and friendly service, despite arriving in the evening and having to leave very early in the morning. United KingdomOn our arrival around 8.30 pm the reception was dark and closed and there was nobody there. I telephoned the agent to let them know we had arrived. A young man appeared after around 10 minutes to open up the apartment. Communication was not easy -but he made it clear he wanted a 200 CHF in cash as a security deposit. I hadn't been made aware of this at the time of booking. The agent informed me they had forgotten to send me a pre-arrival email which contained this information. The information was not included at the time of booking or as part of the owner's policy etc on Booking.com. There is a very steep foot path linking the apartment block to the town - was okay for us - other than when pushing heavy luggage up the path in order to make our way to the bus stop. The owner made contact with us as we left to apologise for the confusion over the security deposit, but somehow I was made to feel that I was in the wrong!
The apartment is centrally located and very comfortable with fabulous views. It is modern, fresh and clean and well appointed. It was just my husband and I - and the space was sufficient. Would be very 'snug' for 4+. Transportation links are good. It's a short walk from the nearest bus stop and 5 minute walk from the train station. Villars is a beautiful town, immaculately maintained with a lovely selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels.

New Zealandthe bedding was low quality and we were promised a tourism card which allows free transport in return for the tourism tax and this only arrived on day three. The manager also felt the need to enter the apartment to take a photo of the wifi instructions which was unwelcome.

Israel,some of the apartment amenities needed repairing but they were quickly repaired. there is an uphill walk to get to the ski train. we eventually rented a locker to leave our equipment next to it.

NetherlandsThis apartment is very comfortable and the view from the apartment at the surrounding mountains is stunning. At our arrival the owner was already there waiting for us. He showed us everything in the apartment and also where to throw away trash and how to get to the inside swimming pool. In the basement of the apartment complex you can use a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen in the apartment is equipped with all necessary utensils. It even has a microwave/oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, fondue, gourmette and a Nespresso coffee machine. Furthermore you can use a vacuum cleaner and an iron. One of the two bathrooms is ensuite to the bedroom. The apartment is 100% clean. The owner supplied a card for each person, which you can use for free transport (bus, train, cable car) in the surrounding area.
