Excellent location, very clean room, staff was very polite and service was impeccable. Our room had big balcony with breathtaking views of the valley. The staff made our star very comfortable. I would love to come back to this resort .

The selection at breakfast could be more environmentally friendly as all the muesli is packaged individually. Although this could be caused by Covid.

The location and views from this hotel are just fantastic. Also we found the staff super helpful, Jan who looks after the restaurant is a star. They very helpfully arranged an early breakfast bag for us and also helped with bookings for Covid travel tests. Also the food in the restaurant is really tasty and would recommend having dinner there.

Beautiful property, exceptionally clean. Staff were very helpful with changing our rooms to meet our family requirements upon arrival. Rooms are beautifully furnished and spacious. Staff extremely helpful. Restaurant great and catered to our challenging dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend.

Price. A little pet high but over all deserve it.

I like mostly the customer service. The are welcomed guys and ready for help. The hotel has very nice view and clean. I recommend it for anyone willing to stay for couple days in grindlwald.

Some things that were less lovely - - It got a bit toasty without AC - The shower stall wasn't very tall... my partner is 6'4" and couldn't really shower standing up straight - he had to crouch and be careful not to hit his head on the ceiling. If you're tall, be warned - A bit far from town and the free shuttle only comes once and hour and the last one from town to the hotel stops around 7pm. If you don't mind paying for a private shuttle, which we found a bit pricey, then not a big deal. Or you could walk (~1 hr), but it didn't feel very safe given the windy & hilly roads sans sidewalks. - So many flies in the dining area - Generally felt a bit overpriced for a hotel so far out of town - the rooms were nice and breakfast was good, but none really lavish enough to justify the price tag

The hotel was generally nice. Highlights - -Breakfast was good. Variety of breads, pastries, cheeses, juices, and fruit. Also meat things but I'm a vegetarian so I skimmed over those. -The room was generally nice - had everything we needed, including a little coffee machine, which was nice -The hotel had a daily "coffee and cakes" hour, which was nice (although the timing made it hard to enjoy and do other things during the day/evening unless you didn't mind paying for the shuttle to town off-schedule or timed it perfectly with the shuttle) -The spa pool and sauna rooms were nice. we went one evening to check it out and liked it so much that we went the next night as well

Very rude and unpleasant owner, who is not customer oriented at all. Money first attitude. We've booked a room with a mountains view. It had a terrible strong smell (perfumes or aroma sticks). Changing that room to a similar without a smell cost us 3 days of escalations via Booking.com support and additional costs (+100 CHF) to pay for the room (completely useless as it was huge and with kitchen, which you cannot use, basically we paid again for the view and extra square meters which we didn't need and couldn't use), which they offered to us as a temporary solution. As a result, we've experienced rude attitude addressed to us from the owner, which obviously had a negative impact on our stay. They also refused to give us money back for the rest of our stay (we offered that option, because they couldn't give us the room with the view (we paid for) and we didn't want to pay extra100 CHF for a large non-functional room we didn't need).. The owner wasn't interested what had happened, didn't want to talk to us (she literally said that) and treated us in a bad way. You should not treat your guests like that, especially for the high prices for the stay. Mattresses should be changed, not comfy and the back hurts.

Good and friendly staff. Beautiful mountains view, far from the city center, but there is a bus available and easy to get to the city center.

It’s very overpriced. The bed mattress are old and very uncomfortable . The receptionists are rude and not very helpful especially if you don’t speak german. I don’t recommend the split-level suites due to the very steep stairs which is unsafe for children nor to elderly people. The food choices is very limited and you are not allowed to cook in rooms. There is no gym or swimming pool. With this facility and services I don’t think it deserve the 4-stars rating.

1- From the first moment I got the feeling that flexibility is not in their dictionary and if they can charge you CHF 1 extra they would not let it go! compared to other hotels which give free upgrade, free mineral, sparkling water, soda in the fridge!! 2- Extra charge to park the car is not justified!! most of hotels I have been in give it for free 3- I booked a 2 bed room suite with kitchenette, they locked all kitchen cabinets and appliances except the fridge!! 4- If kitchenette is locked, why then to crowd the living area with Dinning table and chairs!! I think they lock the kitchenette in the summer either to force people to eat in their restaurant or because they had bad experience with other hotel guests!! But whatever is their reason they got me pay for something they prevent me from using which is not fair!! 5- billows, bed sheets are old/ not clean and not comfortable 6- balcony has limited privacy 7- breakfast, limited options 8- internet Wi-Fi is bad 9- the stairs inside the suite is not safe neither practical! 10- daily room make up is too superficial 11- professional hotels usually use WHITE towels for a reason we all know, this hotel towels were DARK GREY 12- SPA- their spa is mixed and NAKED area

the staff are not well trained. don’t like to listen to feedbacks. rooms is very small. bathrooms have visible glasses which any can see. food quality is not as expected. they changes extra for anything required even if you bring your child. lake of customer satisfaction skills
