The staff was rude to us during check in. We’ve arrived 13:30. 30minutes before check in time. There’s a better way to tell us that the check in time is exactly 14, and if we want we can wait in the lobby. But instead she said early check in you have to pay!! We dont instist to have early check in. We just arrived in the hotel, tell us our name in a nice way with the smile on our face and said we have a reservation for today. And answer us in a mad way! That she is cleaning. Maybe she had a bad day. But she is working in a reception.

There was a buzzing sound coming from the door in the middle of the night.

It was a shame that the wallpaper in my room came loose. I told the receptionist but unfortunately it wasn`t changed during my stay. A real pity.

I found the rooms very appealing. It`s a modern and very nice hotel. The connection to the train and bus is very good, so you can quickly be in the city and get everywhere.

The hotel is a bit out of the way and the vending machine is very expensive so recommend getting your water and snacks at the Migros or supermarkets in town. The bathroom was spotless in terms of cleaning but the furniture was very squicky!

A practical solution for a more affordable stay in St Gallen, it is a five walk to the train station - and then it's literally three minutes of train to the town centre. The room was tiny and essential, but did the job. Very clean, easy access to an underground car park.

We would have appreciated if the staff had informed us the first day we arrived that we could get a mobility-ticket St.Gallen-Bodensee for free and not when we checked out. The blanket on the bed was far too warm which made it hard to sleep at night

We liked the spacious hotel lobby with huge windows. We liked the bathroom with an excellent shower. We didn´t have breakfast but we could buy coffee from the coffee machine in the morning. We liked that the room was soundproof

Total lack of cosiness. No room textile anywhere, all concrete. Hard floors, no curtains. Exterior windowblinds are functional but not cosy. It was like sleeping in a Norwegian prison.

Restaurants nearby, trip target just around the corner. Rooms very clean, shower space and build quality above the room price level.

My wife did struggle to open the room door after entering the 6 digit code but it might be an anomaly.

This hotel is a little gem in St Faden. Since it is so close to the station and St Gallen University, it is ideal for visiting academics. The modern style and minimalistic layout of the room was refreshing. After a long day, the shower was refreshing and a good sleep on an excellent bed mattress. The hotel is exceptionally quiet, even the corridors! During night time the passing train's wheels 'clackety-clack' had a smoothing effect - may be my love for trains! The breakfast buffet was also excellent.
