No laundry on site however staff offered the laundry service.

It could get quite warm even despite the fan.

The hostel was great, everything was super clean. Kitchen was well equipped and the common area were very nice. We had a private room and were happy with the size. Comfort level as expected for a hostel.

Really lovely accommodation. Near to the train and Lucerne city, Altstadt, and Quay (ferry terminals). Road the ‘Next bike’ pay as you go bicycles all about. Enjoyed the swimming beach by the lake, only steps from the accommodation. Couple of cheap take out shops and supermarket only a few streets back. Delightful stay….🥳

I loved staying here, no complaints honestly. For a 2 nights stay , we loved how smoothly we could plan on the go, from a good night sleep to preparing breakfast and meals.

Location - You need to have a car/bike or catch a bus to reach the hostel. There are buses every minute which takes you to Lucerne central. You can also walk for 1.4 km along the lake side. It's located in quiet neighbourhood. There is a beach/park reachable on foot and it is so beautiful in the evenings. Kitchen - Everything from cutlery , to Rice cooker, stove, some spices , salt etc is available. there are two kitchens. The only downside is stove is switched off between 9 p.m to morning 8 a.m. But everything else like toasters ,kettle can be used. Very clean and well organised. Room- We had a 2 year old infant, they provided us baby cot. As the room was a bit small,So it was a little short on space for us to move. But it is not so inconvenient when you are only coming home to sleep. The beds were well made and comfy Bathrooms- Very neat and clean, there were several in each section of the floor. General - There were toys, books ,games kept in the main area. So my little one played while i was making some food for us. Reception - Very friendly and helpful. The receptionist also recommended us on a local trip information. They also provide guest pass which you can use to travel within 10 zone in Lucerne. Overall, Totally recommendable for anyone and everyone.

Bedroom was a decent size. Loved having a balcony. We were super impressed with all the living and dining communal areas. The location was within easy walking distance of the train station. The correspondence by email and at the property was excellent.

Pillow was flat as a pancake and the bathrooms were dirty depending on who was at the hostel with you.

On-site coffee (even they charged for it) would be great. They do give out tea bags.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly staff who lent me the lobby fan for my room due to a heatwave. The room, bathrooms, kitchen and public spaces were immaculate. The hostel is in a great location next to a park fronting Lake Lucerne with local sights (including boats touring Lake Lucerne) a 10-minute walk away. Nearby is also a Migros grocery store where I stocked up daily on food for the day as well as a morning coffee. While the train and bus stations are both within walking distance, if you've got lots of luggage you can walk for a couple of minutes to catch a bus, which is free with the Lucerne Card they'll give you (which also includes free wifi in many places).
