The room was no so clean, there was a paper on the table of bedroom about the price of dinner but it was not accurate.

The only drawback is its distance from Interlaken, requiring a bus ride, with the last service departing at 6pm. If you miss it you have to take Taxi which itself can cost more than you stay :(

I stumbled upon this hotel by a slight oversight while searching for accommodations in or near Interlaken. Despite my initial booking mishap, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional experience it offered. Exceptional value for the price. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. Breathtaking views of the snowy mountains from the windows. Impeccable rooms that were spacious, clean, and truly impressive. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding amenities, beautiful surroundings, and overall value. Just be mindful of transportation logistics if you plan to explore Interlaken late into the evening.

The cleaning was not done carefully, there was animal hair, cobwebs on the floor, not airy and the linen should be ironed, it was wrinkled.

the food is very good, the staff is amazing, they made our stay much more relaxed and pleasant. The view is wonderful.

Tidiness, communication overall. They charge for parking as well 3 CHF.

The Hot tub and view are phenomenal. Rooms are smaller that we expected, the host was very helpful through phone communication , but is hard to find someone in the hotel for help.

It was a little old fashioned and there were a lot of flys. I guess this could be expected being out in the country side but I think more could’ve been done to control them. Staff was a bit rude, we went down to get dinner our first night. There was only one other couple in the restaurant but they made a big deal about us not having a reservation. She kept trying to rush us out and there was only two other tables in use when we were leaving. Also half of the menu was not available for some reason.

If you stay you have to get a room with a hot tub. The view was unbelievable.

The view is amazing. Best view till date. I can't explain it is words. If you are visiting Switzerland then this stay should be on your list Amazing food and unlimited breakfast which adds up to your day. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone out there. Tip: if you are travelling by public transport last bus is around 6pm from train station.

The way the hotel rules are written gives the impression that guests don't feel like guests, but rather as if the hotel is doing them a favor. This could be improved for a more welcoming experience.

In summer the room can get quite warm, sadly there is no fan or AC. Even for a hot night, we only had very warm blankets

I missed for hairdryer in bathroom, and bathroom itself needs to be a bit repaired.

Location was super, in the middle of mountains and lack of much tourists. Were surprised about possibilities for hiking and cycling, next time will stay a bit longer to explore surroundings. A room was spacious and very cute, breakfast was excellent. Staff was super helpful and as we were a very first time in Kiental, the waitress from the restaurant gave us a lot of recommendations what to see and what to do and where to go.

A large screen television would be nice , but then the views out of the window were a great substitute. Internet was a bit slow and not available in some areas.

Very large room with fantastic views from all directions . Excellent breakfast with fresh bread and great selection of food for all tastes . Very helpful and kind staff , lift to all floors and peaceful for sleeping . Hotel is steeped with history and furnishings are exquisite . Kettle and tea , coffee were a nice touch. Ideal location for exploring the kiental and kandersteg natural areas . Parking available near to hotel.

There was no-one on reception when we arrived, however they had left the key out. An electric jug was provided but we had to ask for a suitable plug connection.

This hotel is up a valley from Interlaken. It is not a long journey from there. It is a quaint place to stay and we enjoyed it. The room was spacious and the breakfast was exceptional. It was some distance from things that we wanted to see. The hotel has multiple levels and so having a lift was very good.

No reception staff to greet you on arrival. Left keys and free drink vouchers in an envelope. 1 lady at breakfast, who was really nice. Better selection at breakfast would be good, for the price you pay. Could do with a deep clean in the grooves of the bed frame, bed lamps and chandelier. Bathroom/toilet was quite small and very dated. Dangerous towel handles. Shower door was a bit loose and was a tight squeeze. TV would be good, when weather is bad. Worst issue we had was the last night of our 2 day stay, our neighbours in another room were playing techno music till early hours of the morning. We slept with ear plugs and could still hear them. There's no one available to complain to, which is really disappointing!!

Views from our room and balcony were phenomenal. Technically was a small suite with extra seating area. Style of furniture was beautiful, very antique. Selection of teas were good. Memory foam mattress was ok, not good for me but husband liked it.
