Very basic room with dated decor and furnishings. Seating too uncomfortable to use. No kettle or facilities for making a hot drink. On a busy road.

My room was next to the lift, so woken by people returning at 1.20AM. Not the Hotels fault though.

Friendly, thoughtful, & helpful staff, who were really a pleasure to meet, were the highlight for me. Lovely situation, stylish decor, overlooking the lake. Lift. Comfortable bed, water in the room, and charger. Lounge, and other areas, as well as the stylish breakfast area(with great views), gave a variety of places to unwind and relax.

The staff were brilliant. Exceptionally friendly and welcoming, multi-lingual and knowledgeable. Great location along the lake not far from the city centre and near public transport. By far the best coffee we had anywhere in Europe during our trip (UK, France, Switzerland, Germany)

Lovely stay . We love the family room ( 2 connecting rooms ). The building was well Maintained. The hotel staff services was great! The hotel facing lakeside with nice view & children playground Just walk across the road . The hotel breakfast was simple but overall not too bad .

Dated bathroom with a shower over bath and a curtain - so impractical and surely shouldn't be in a hotel which charges this much! AN old buuilding so expect quite a bit of noise from other guests from hallways and rooms above.

The room decor was disappointing...The clothes closet and storage cabinet looked like something you'd expect to see in a male's collage dorm. The upholstered chairs and couch did not fit the age of the building...

great location (very short walk to the lake), public buses go in front of the hotel, close to all tourist places (Chapel Bridge, old town, etc). Staffs were very friendly, clean facilities.

Excellent property to stay at for as many days as you want. They are considerate and try to fulfill all your requests. Early check in was also provided at no additional cost. The room is very comfortable and has a great view of Lake Lucerne. Breakfast is included in the rate and they have a nice breakfast as per Swiss standards. If you are visiting from India like us, you may get slightly disappointed given the lack of variety across days and the lack of hot food options. They have excellent hot beverage options. They also have room service of beverages which is rare in Europe. The staff is exceptional in their service. You can walk across the road and walk by the lake/ sit on a bench and enjoy the lake/snow mountain views. Given a chance, I would visit again! Highly recommended!

the hotel is extraordinary, classic, all corners of the hotel are very photogenic and instagrammable. The staff were very friendly and helped us with all our needs, even because we brought a small child and couldn't enter the booking system, they allowed it and it was free. because we brought a car, they prepared parking garage facilities and it was only 100 m from the hotel. The hotel location is in the city center, there is a park and lake in front of the hotel so children can play and feed the birds, the casino and chapel bridge are also very close. we recommend this hotel for holidays

The little shower cubicle inside the room is a good idea but because you only have a curtain to close it, the nice wooden floors and the interior of the room could get quite wet. Maybe the shower could be equipped with an actual door.

Lovely staff. The breakfast was very good and included fresh local apple juice and delicious pastries. The cheese selection was exceptional - its Switzerland after all. Great location by the lake and with the Luzern guest card you can use the busses for free. It's about 4 stops to the main station and the bus stops almost in front of the hotel. Loved the decor and the concept of the room. Old meets new, I loved the modern touches mixed with the stately luxury of years gone by. Water and chocolates and the cozy robe made the stay extra nice. Not cheap but that's not gonna be different wherever you go in Luzern.

Fun mix of color and history. Extremely walkable to all things Lucerne. Bed was comfy, hotel was clean and delightful. Breakfast was delicious!!
