I just dont like that the shower room is located at first floor only...i wish they have shower and toilet in each floor..

I really like the location because it's so near to everywhere..and the view from the window is awesome..we did take a walk on our last day just around the area, and it was really so pleasant...😊

There was no lift up to our room (floor 3). The lift is only to floor 2B.

The location is perfect, near a major station / terminal (Interlaken West) and adjacent to the bus stop. The view from the hotel was wonderful. The room is clean, with a view of the mountain. The breakfast was delicious.

Very friendly staff, nice garden in the front of the hotel, beautiful mountain view, close to the city centre, not overcrowded, nice room, kettle in the room, coffee and tea and cake for free between 14 and 18, very nice breakfast buffet (I would add some vegetables and fruits), bike storage, perfect home-like atmosphere!!

The breakfast was delicious and filling. Location was great with a magnificent view of the mountains from the reception/entrance. Shared bathrooms were a chore but maintained very well. Rooms were a bit dated but more than enough and comfortable for 2 night stay. We were just a 10 minutes walk from the city area.

Plenty of people don't drink dairy milk ... either because they don't have the lactose gene (most of the planet) or because they avoid animal products. There are plenty of alternatives ... soy, almond, oat. Many Asians drink soy rather than dairy and it has a long shelf life, so it's not difficult to cater for.

The bathroom was located two floors below our room. The walls of the room were quite thin. But this wasn't so in all the rooms. We could only get this room because the hotel was sold out.

The location was great. The view from the room was amazing. The buffet breakfast was really good and complementary coffee and cake between 2-6 every evening were an added bonus. The staff was really courteous and helpful.

No air conditioning... but I dont blame the hotel, I think they cannot put AC because of the historical building of hotel.

Staff was extremely kind and helpful! They helped us to upgrade to a room with a private bathroom, which was helpful and worth the money. The rooms did not have A/C, as expected in Europe, but we found a fan in the closet, a major plus in our American eyes.

Although I knew I booked a room with shared bathroom I did not realise the shared shower was two floors down. The partition between rooms provides no privacy I might as well have been in a dormitory you can hear every word as if they are in the room with you. The floor and doors shake when people enter rooms beside you. Could hear people snoring and talking on either side of us each night and was woken by their alarm and talking. Literally like having a curtain between rooms but without the consideration that this provides as people think they can’t be heard. Stayed four nights and hardly slept at all with multiple people going in out of shared toilet all night.

The pillows were very flat you could double them and they were still flat it would have been nice to have had more fluffier pillows. The staff was very nice it was clean I was happy with our experience there

The breakfast and the workers in the breakfast area were superb.
