The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

There really isn't anything, if anything, however not a dislike, The room could be larger and maybe curtains on the windows for those who may not wish to rise with the roosters.

The Staff is super. They look after you at all times. The food/menu choices is very good as is the food. Compliments to the chef(s). Nice Terrace to relax and enjoy the scenery. Location really does not need to be mentioned, it is a dream. Great central point for many different grades of hiking, if that is your bag. Overall, great place to stay, certainly recommend and I would stay again.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We were helped with the transfer of our luggage from the station and also could borrow snow shoes for outside free of charge. The view of the alps is absolutely breathtaking - it really is a winter paradise but not crowded at all so felt very relaxing and plenty of things to do (especially for those who ski). I highly recommend hotel belalp to anyone wanting to stay in top of a mountain.

An exiting trip by gondola and walk to a stunning location on top of a mountain next to a glacier. Excellent reception and staff. The restaurant has a superb view on the mountains and excellent food. A treat in every way!

An amazing hotel and in such a beautiful place. A well managed hotel with efficient and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast served in large room with beautiful views of the Alps.. Our evening meal was delicious and offering a good selection of wines. For the summer tourist there are great walks which you will remember for their beauty. Several ski lifts run daily during the winter period. I look forward to my next visit.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Felt like it went off for a while :/

Location is amazing. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with the best view ever. The evening meal was reasonably priced and tasty. Fyi there is nowhere else nearby to go once you're at this point. Super comfortable rooms. Kind of luxurious for a hiking hotels, and the road there is basically flat so even if you're not a walker it's accessible.

Exceptional breakfast with a range of cold and hot options. The hotel is situated in an outstanding location with views over the Aletsch Glacier. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the gondola. We arrived in the dark and snow and the hotel arranged for us to be picked up. They also provided free rental of snowshoes and poles.

The ski in and ski out is only for good skiers and every morning there is a 10 minute walk to the skilift. If you don't mind walking that short distance in your skies, all is great about this location.

This is such a beautiful and lovely place, the staff is so very nice, the views are breathtaking and the food is great. We had a lovely time.

We had the double room with view and a balcony. The room itself was very basic (just 2 beds) and quite small. You would never spend that long in the room with all the great views and activities you have there, so it wasnt a problem at all.

The hotel is in a superb position, beautifully reconstructed and managed with skill and charm. Rooms are typically Swiss, warm and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and efficient and the restaurant is tip-top with a fine range of dishes prepared with artistry and a varied wine list. The views from the superior rooms and the restaurant are spectacular (even in the dull weather we had). Considering that this hotel is above 2000m high (almost 7000 ft!) and a cable-car ride and a half-hour walk from the nearest supplies, the prices are very fair.
