Welcome winter drinks, modern hotel in idyllic location, amazing outdoor jacuzzi, comfortable and clean beds. Catarina at the spa is very friendly and professional. 10/10.

The town was a bit smaller than we were used to difficulty finding good places to eat outside of the hotel.

The property was beautiful, amazing location in the town with the best views from the balcony. Aside from location all of the staff were very friendly and the spa was wonderful. Rooms were cleaned well with fully stocked and delicious breakfast in the mornings really topped off a great stay.

King bed was two beds pushed together. However I think it’s a Europe thing as this happened at another hotel. A single king bed would have better but the beds were comfortable enough nonetheless.

Enjoyed everything!

Fabulous outlook to open the curtains in the morning to see the spectacular alps! Spacious room with large bathroom. Added bonus was the heated outdoor pool, it was magical relaxing in it at night time. Great breakfast spread too! Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was very nice and spacious! Hotel provided very luxurious soap/shampoo/lotion and we could take everything in the minibar, including chips which we brought up to Jungfraujoch. Location was perfect, near cable car station for First mountain, and also one stop away from Eiger express station. There is also a small supermarket near the hotel. Wide selection of food for breakfast. Hotel was very kind to give water and little snacks upon checkout. We did not make use of the transport to/from train station hence had to lug our luggage up/down the slope that leads to the hotel.

One potential improvement, which I'm not sure applies to all rooms, is the addition of a door to the bathroom. While there's a door leading to the toilet, there isn't one for the shower area. During my stay with a friend, it was uncomfortable when we had to take showers, as one of us had to wait outside or in a hidden spot whilst one of us showered. Possibly, installing frosted shower doors would have solved the issue and no need for doors in that case :)

I absolutely loved my experience at the Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort. It's undeniably one of the best hotels in Grindelwald when considering all aspects. Unlike other hotels where there might be a great view but lackluster rooms or excellent rooms but poor breakfast, Bergwelt Grindelwald excelled in every category. The room was superb, the service was impeccable, the spa was fantastic, and the customer service was exceptional, receiving a solid 10/10. Additionally, the breakfast was not only delicious but also offered a wide array of options. It was a perfect stay in every sense! Highly recommend! 🙃
