Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, was no option for breakfast, however it was advertised… I guess its because the season just started.

The hotel is very close to the Wengen railway station with good connectivity to Lauterbrunnen and also right next to the Mannlichen cable car and has absolutely amazing views of the mountains! The room was clean and big and had a balcony overlooking the mountains. 10/10 recommend for people who can overlook some missing amenities. The view from the balcony can more than compensate for them :)

The only downside is that the floor will produce creaking sound when walking around, but everything is good and clean!

I love this location, its just a FLAT short walk distance from the wengen train station. Check in was very smooth, there is COOP nearby as well. Overall the room was very good, with own toilet as well. Would definitely come and stay again soon!

Hotel is perfect and the wooden structure is matching the vibes of mountains area, the view from hotel was amazing specially when you book room with balcony its so nice to sit and enjoy the view. the area was very nice to walk and hotel is neat to train station

The Bathroom was too small. You barely fit in the bathroom. There were no elevators on the site. It took us 30 mins to wait to check in because no one was at the reception. The staff was busy opening the restaurant and the owner's house is next door and he wrote on his personal gate "Do not knock, Dog will bark and I will yell which makes things ugly" which is rude.

The train station is literally down the road. Good food options nearby. Amazing view. Hotel have their own restaurant. The room size was good. There is one Indian restaurant as well which serves you good food. We have dinner one day.

No lift. The nearby church bells! The guest patio area at the back of the hotel looked a bit bleak.

Three of use stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2023. The one room we all shared was basic but clean and there was a sink in the room instead of in the small bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The one night we were going to eat in the restaurant they were very busy and couldn't give us a table. There was free tea and coffee in the reception area and a guest fridge to put any food or drinks in. The room we had was on the 3rd floor and there was no lift so we had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs to get there. The only other issue was the sound of the nearby church bells chiming every half hour - all through the day and night! However, the location of the hotel was great and only a short walk to the train station and tourist information.

Had a weird smell in the room not sure If it was the wood. Breakfast is chargeable but the spread is decent not much. Very old type of hair dryer that didn't work well and very basic amenities provided.there was one kettle in the lobby and not in each room.

Good location, courteous staff, clean room and bathroom and has a very good restaurant. Provided fridge facility in the lobby. Room size apt for one person with decent bathroom size.

Location was fantastic, central to everything in Wengen. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The price of room was reasonable and was a good value for the area.

Church next to the hotel, you hear the bell every 30 mins even during the night. Hotel is historic, somewhat outdated. Not sure what is the deal with check in. They tell you that check in is between 2pm and 6pm and you have to make an arrangement for after 6pm. With the arrangement check in is free before 8pm. It is 50 CHF after that. They have a restaurant at the property which is open until 10 pm, there is stuff around that can check people in. So not sure why they have to make guests nervous if they arrive late.

Location is great, good view, very good breakfast with home made bread, variety of cheeses, eggs and yogurt.

Toilet in a closet. Couldn’t get the kettle for hot water because it was only available after 2 pm with a returnable deposit and we were never there at the time
