The room location faced the street and was very noisy all night long. Although the room had an air conditioning unit there was no obvious way to turn it on. Since it was quite warm the night we stayed there, it required us keeping the windows open. Thus, the street noise was unacceptable. The key access to the room was old fashioned and required leaving your key (with a large fob and room number on it) in an area in a lobby cubicle, not behind the desk. Although the front desk was staffed most of the time no one was at the desk when we left and returned from dinner. In addition, there was no safe in the room and we had a concerns regarding valuables left in the room. Yes, this was Switzerland and overall very safe, but the open access to the room keys should be reconsidered.

The location near the train station and access to the city center was ideal. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and well kept. The hotel provided free access to public transportation.

The room was simple but clean. Close to the trainstation. Breakfast was good for the price of only 10 CHF. In general good value for money.

Location is good. Exit from Lugano train station (go towards platform 4A, until the very end exit to the road, walked another 2 min will reach the hotel). Buffet bfast at CHF10 is good.

Rooms are very noisy. You can hear each and every step of the residents above you. The bedsheets were for single bed, although we had a double bed. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

the property il greatly located just a few minutes walk above the main station. it is very practical. A bit old fashioned but clean, well maintained and functional. the staff is very friendly and helpful. better price than other properties in town for me it was perfectly located for where I needed to be.

Very kind and helpful staff, clean room and comfortable bed. Overall very good value for money. Just keep in mind you are not booking in a 4 stars hotel ;-) good location,very close to the main station (1 min walking distance) perfect for stay overs when traveling by train. Lugano citty centre reachable in 5 min with the funicular (from the main station) or 15 min by walk.

I personally enjoy harder pillows and these ones were waaaay to soft. No additional pillow in the wardrobe, so I had to fold it somehow. But it can be only a matter of personal taste

Bus stop in front of the house. Closed to train station and the city in Walking distance. Shower with good pressure. Nice welcome of the reception Gabriele and also the team. Everything necessary also on the breakfast buffet.

Please include the city taxes also in the price offered by booking.com. On the checkout day, they asked me to pay the "city tax". I didn't have cash and their card payment machine suddenly stopped working, and I had a train to catch, so it was not a nice situation.

The only weak point was about the noise.i got a room next to the elevator, whenever it went up and down it made a terrible noise which did not let me sleep.Some guests also were so loud ( in the corridors)in the morning ,for going and having their breakfasts

I booked double bed room with single queen size bed with air conditioning and I was surprised to see 2 single beds joined together with gap in between and no air-conditioning. The quality of blankets and pillows were pathetic. Had to go with neck pain next day.. The bed was of low quality making noise.
