The bathroom was a little dated but it was not a problem.

The owners and staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. The food was good and the breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of it. In the restaurant they always topped the bread and tap water up for no extra charge..

We booked a double room. Unfortunately after arriving, we were advised the hotel made a mistake and our room was not available. They arranged a room at a hotel 200 meters away for 1 night and we were to return for the 2nd night in an upgraded room. I understand mistakes happen but it was still disappointing and it left a bad taste in my mouth. We specifically stay at one hotel for 2 nights for our convenience during vacation. The upgraded room to accommodate for their mistake was okay, it was large and spacious but minimal and basic. The breakfast had typical items offered in Swiss hotels, everything appears fresh.

The host always smile at me and pretty responsive. Also provided a promotion code for the discount of cable cars The room is a bit old but it's cool to see several objects of decades ago. I stayed at a room with a balcony. Not so much surprising view but it's cozy to be there. It takes around 10 mins to walk from train station but not a bit deal. And it's quite a peaceful place

(annoyingly) standard in Switzerland there was no AC and no fan in the room (and no exhaust fan in the bathroom). You could open the windows but only one of them opened from the top (which meant others slamming closed in the wind). We had most open all night as it was warm. Luckily no biting bugs. But was a bit noisy from cars and lots of light while sleeping.

Great location for hiking oeschensee. Great buffet breakfast. Great view from the room and it had a balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Free parking and the place had a lift.

The mattress and pillows were too soft for me. The breakfast is quite basic but fine overall.

We got an upgrade of our room upon arrival. Super friendly and kind service and attitude, very spacious and clean room with a balcony and a beautiful view. the bathroom was also very spacious. i particularly liked the liquid soap for hands and body.

Spacious cozy room with a balcony, clean, great breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant which also serves delicious dinner, staff was very friendly and caring. Walking distance to Oeschinensee cable car and Kandersteg train station, grocery stores close-by, bus stop in front of the hotel.
