Everything was normal, but there are a couple of warnings. On the 5th floor, some rooms are attic with windows only in the ceiling. The windows are above the beds, and in them a little blowing (if you do not like drafts ask for it in advance). There is no kettle or glasses in the room. In the hall on the ground floor, you can make tea (for hot water you have to pay 50 cents, it is not much but strange and not convenient).

We stayed a couple of nights. And everything was as described. The hotel is located 7 minutes walk from the train station, if you come by train is very convenient. To the old town about 12-15 minutes, to the lake about 20 minutes. We got of improved the room, the size was sufficient. Everything was clean in the room and the hotel. Housekeeping was good. Roomy refrigerator. There is only one outlet in the room for a 220 plug. Other outlets were near each bed. The bathroom is quite spacious. The decoration of the hotel is laconic. Breakfast without hot and no special variety, but everything is tasty and enough to eat. The reception staff was attentive and friendly.

I like the location, close to the train station, and the staff who were very friendly. I needed a place to sleep and this hotel was quiet (couldn't hear street noise or people in next room).

Little to complain about. Being fussy the television needs to be reprogrammed as half of the channels aren't available, and that's not due to being on Sky or other pay platforms.

As I was using Zurich HB a lot, then the location is great. The check in and out was seamless. I was allocated a nice room with some space and a comfortable bed. Despite the room facing the road it is a quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom was a bit old fashioned but it provided what was needed (always prefer a shower to a shower in a bath). Breakfast was good and was served from 0630 EVERY morning. No hot food (oh, except the boiled eggs), but a good choice, especially if you want more than a croissant and a cup of coffee. One of the good features of the Bristol is a computer that guests can use - handy for obtaining and printing of boarding passes. Took advantage of the tea/coffee tray available from Reception, though you can get a tea/coffee from their vending machine in the lobby for 50 cents. Will definetly return!

Room is a bit small and couldn’t control the heating as its central. Was really cold sometimes and really hot other times. Some remodelling could be done to update interior design to be a bit more modern. Overall, it was neat

My room the first night (without the upgrade) was a little basic, but it was okay Towels a little too small and thin Heavy old fashioned keys, had to deposit them every time I went out and sometime had to wait to get them back if there was a line of people checking in

1) The single room is quite small 2) No hot breakfast (just hard-boiled eggs) 3) The reception is not 24 hours 4) The key from the room is a heavy old-fashioned one instead of a plastic card, hence anyone can get to the room floor. 5) Pillows are extremely soft and uncomfortable

The location (5 minute walk from the Main Railway Station) is great when you want to avoid traffic jams and save your time plus for a sightseeing around the City center. The street it quiet, hence not much noise when you sleep. Personnel is super friendly and speaks good English.

The rooms feel quite austere but this is perhaps a reflection of the exceptional cleanliness and sandard of upkeep maintained by the property.

The room was so hot and we couldn't adjust the temperature (aircon didn't work and we turned off the central heating), so we had to leave the balcony door slightly open all night. Nice to have a warm room in winter, but the whole hotel is slightly too warm.

Size of the room was good for 4 adults, with a balcony which would have been nice if the weather was good. Location was perfect for walking from the main train station. The ability to store luggage before check in and after check out was hugely appreciated. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Nothing - everything was great, fit my requirements perfectly and was less expensive than other hotels which wouldn't have been better.

Big, comfortable room with good bed, good level of heating, and excellent location near the train station. The shower was unusually strong, which was nice. Check-in and check-out was efficient and friendly. I didn't try the breakfast as I had to leave early for a train.

Although not much noise coming from the street, sounds from other rooms and the hallway could be heard very clearly.

Very convenient location, just 5 minutes walk to zurich main station and well connected with zurich city trams. Rooms were spacious and very clean, some how I especially enjoyed the texture of the duvet sheet and pillow cases. Staff was welcoming and friendly as well.

Not much not to like. I would appreciate better coffee than what they have on offer (for a very low cost). It used to be even better value a couple of years back, but these days the price has gone up.

The location is super convenient. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed is comfortable and the shower is just right.
