Loved everything

Great location very close to old part of town, lovely and spacious room, very helpful staff. Nice lounge on our floor to make tea and coffee and play cards. We were there for the carnival and it was a great choice.

All fine. Would have liked to have known in advance about the free travel in Basel for those staying overnight. It would have saved the problems with had with the ticket machine at the airport for the No. 50 bus.

We were attending a function in Ayledo restaurant next door, so couldn't be a better location.

Parking at the hotel costs 22 CHF for hotel guests which we found a bit unusual for a hotel in a quiet residential area of Basel with lots of parking on the premise (street parking is limited to 1,5h)

The room and location is wonderful, staff very friendly and helpful, ideal location for an early trip to the airport!

I wish we could have more options for breakfast, and the juices were not the best (bad orange taste).

Very very large room for 3 people. High floor, with a lift. Nice breakfast area. Very friendly staff. Good parking lot. Very nice location.

A nice stay! Spacious and cleaning family room. Good location at a garden. Traffic is easy，only three bus stops from Basel SBB station. We arrived early before the check in time， staff warmly put our Luggage down and introduce us city spots，gift visit card，so we have a relax city walk. Breakfast is delicious.

The only thing was we would have liked a Toaster at breakfast. You served boiled and scrambled eggs. But we wanted it with toast.

I never thought I would come across such a magnificent building. Both its historical texture and location were very nice. 15-20 minutes walking distance to the important points of the city. Breakfast was very good.

I wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything. The hotel and the service are great, there's everything we may need. The breakfast menu is delicious and there's a great variety. The complex is really nice, a mix of old and contemporary buildings in a big and green property, with beautiful gardens. The location is also good, like 10-15min on foot of the city center, and even if you don't want to walk, the hotel offers the Basel Card and you can use the public transport for free, there's a stop almost in front of the hotel.

I have absolutely NO complaints!

The beds were very comfortable! The room was spacious! This location was, for us, walkable from the train station and walkable to the river cruise port (We travel with a carry-on size roll-aboard suitcase and one backpack/tote bag each). The nature garden was like a green oasis in the city. We felt very safe walking to the local grocery store to pick up some snacks and we walked easily into the Old Town!

A base of tranquility on a very central location in Basel. Rooms are basic, yet comfortable. Especially the garden and breakfast are well, well beyond what one would expect. Great value too!
