This hotel has access to the garden with stunning view of Eiger mountain. The staff is friendly and entertain the request to upgrade the room. Not to mention giving very clear instruction and guidance. The overall stay is great. You could request to have breakfast in the room and enjoy the view.

Breakfast was good but since it's a cold country we would love to have 'hot' breakfast options like omelette or choice of eggs. Everything served is cold.

We got an upgrade at a very reasonable cost. The view from our room was a dream. This is by far the most beautiful room with a view I have stayed. If someone will ask me the best part of my entire trip to Switzerland, I would say waking up to this view, those mountains, looking at cable cars, grasslands, tulips all over... wow.

The balcony view is only street view unfortunately, and I don't know how to open the dryer in the bathroom. Breakfast is so so, but coffee is great!

Room is great. The garden view is fantastic, and the room is spacious. Highly recommend for everyone staying in Grindelwald.

Amazing view from the balcony! Exactly as what you see from the photos shown! Added point as they provide BBQ facilities! So u can grab some meats from coop near train station and prepare own dinner. Nothing I could ask for.

We loved Hotel Cabana. All was perfect, the rooms looked very cozy, clean and the personnel was friendly. The beds were very comfortable. we will be coming back in the future!

Breakfast fare was very limited (the least), in comparison to several hotels we stayed throughout this trip. Distance from station wasn't that near especially having to wheel luggages through the snow ground downhill, recommend taking a bus (which we arrived too late for, but managed to take one during checkout for uphill journey).

Being able to step out into the garden balcony, to stare into the awesome day & evening views (snowy winter) was simply magical!

Hotel Cabana was just amazing. The interior looks nice and comfortable, the view from the rooms is jaw-dropping stunning (The Eiger is very close), you can sit in the balcony and just watch the view and not go anywhere else. There is a washer and dryer, which is very convenient. There is wine and snacks in the lounge which you can take and will be charged later, the heating is very good, and the balcony door opens in a very interesting way to leave a crack for fresh air. There are chairs and a table in the balcony - and that's where we rang in the new year! The host lady was very friendly. My husband broke his arm skiing, and she offered to drop us to the train station since wheeling the bags on our walk would have been difficult. She also allowed our sons to check in early when they reached ahead of all of us for skiing. I cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was. The photos here do not do justice to the place. Unfortunately I don't have better photos of the property.
