Entrance/ staircase dirty, but room clean

How to begin? Firstly, I'd booked for two people but there was only one single doona. The plug point did not fit the standard European adaptor If we'd been there for more than one night, we would have been in trouble. There was no kettle. As you entered the property, it was dirty. Thankfully our room was clean.

The accommodation was satisfactory. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with essentials such as towels and toilet paper, and the place was clean and well-maintained. The location is lovely and relatively close to the city center, about a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute tram ride. Despite this, I am rating it relatively low because the price is unjustified for what is essentially a basic apartment. A reasonable price for such accommodation would be around 30 euros per night for one person, given that it only provides a place to sleep without any additional services. This was one of the cheaper accommodations available in Zurich.

I liked the location the most.

the apartment had a smell of smoke, broken shower hose, sink in bathroom blocked (water sinking very slow), Very loose water tap in kitchen, toilet seat loose, in the kitchen there is like very limited things (only one mini fork for example), its very dirty in the entrance of the building and stair case with stains and beer cans etc....

We had booked two rooms one in the first floor and one in the third floor. In the bathroom of the first floor, there was no curtain for the bathtub and in the third floor washroom, the shower head needs repair. Also, the lights were non-functional on our last day since morning.

The location of the apartment is very good and the facilities are fine. The bathroom essentials are provided.

No kettle or mugs to make hot drinks, not enough towels for 3 persons. Bedding did not fit bed? ( too small) .

Not possible to turn radiator off, so far too hot, even with windows open and door propped open ( not good for security). No kettle. Minimal kitchen implements. Shower door doesn't close properly.

Comfortable bed. Good location for visiting botanical gardens, which were excellent!

The bathroom shower was very weak and was very hard to get a consistent temperature (was either scolding hot or freezing cold). I wish there was dish soap available for guests to wash up their dishes. It can be quite noisy at night because you can hear the traps passing by. However, since I am a deep sleeper, it barely bothered me but may have affected my friends’ sleep. Moreover, upon entry, the room had a very strong smell, as if no one has opened the windows for a very long time. Also, sometimes the building staircase smelt a bit like smoke. I also wish there was someone to greet us.

The room had a kitchen and was located near a tram stop. I like how it is very close to the city centre. Decent value for money - you get what you pay for. Moreover, the temperature of the room was perfect. The check-in was really quick and easy.

There was no elevator. We were on the second floor. it was difficult especially with luggage. the guests in the rooms below complained of water dripping into their bathroom from our bathroom. The room was dark as there were very few lights. There was no light point in the kitchen. There was no cleaning liquid in the kitchen. There was only one electric point which could either be used for the microwave or the kettle. Also the maintenance of the place was poor. Finally while making payment during booking, booking.com deducted more amount than was in the invoice and displayed in the booking. I contacted booking.com and the property many times. Booking,com says that the additional amount has been deducted by the property and they always say that they will check with the property. The property says that all payments are deducted by booking.com and I should ask them. Till date, this additional payment deducted has not been refunded. It has been 4 months since I booked this.

The location was on the main road and close to public transport. The kitchen had the basic utensils, microwave and kettle.

The room had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. It is a bit far from the city centre but there is a good tram service next to the hostel.

Noisy rooms, from other rooms and from the road in front for road traffic. There were supposed to be instructions for wifi connection, but there were not.

The room was clean enough and the basic aspects to have a décent expérience has been provided.

in this appartment must be lift, or any bell boy who can transfer luggage to 2nd and 3rd floor. as it was very difficult to move with family.

The lights were not working. We didn't have any working lights at night. The WiFi and the TV was not working. I had tried to call, Message and email but not a single response from any person.

The room was good, good washroom and bed was comfortable. The heater was also good.

There was a black out in the morning on the 2nd day. I had to call to the support and had to wait for 2-3 hours until the electricity came back.

No elevator if you have suitcases. There was a not nice smell at the blanket like old wood.

The bathroom is falling apart. Not in a usable condition. The glass doors are falling and one pane was missing. You risk flooding the room if you shower. The bathroom sink is also blocked.

It's nothing fancy, but it does the job for a short stay. Lighting in the hallway is bleak.

Location wasn't far from the bus stop. For just one night, the room was ok. It did have a stove and mini fridge. Temperature of the room was good and the shower worked well.
