Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandAccording to some of the reviews, you can hear people in an adjacent room - the biggest problem for us was a loud music from the bar downstairs that we heard the whole evening and long after the midnight. You get earplugs, but in this case, they were not much of help.
The hotel is located up in the mountain, in wintertime you can either walk up or book a snow taxi (that is an interesting option). The views from the hotel are great, the double room we had was very nice and clean, shared bathroom as well (didn't feel like an inconvenience). To go down you can use a complimentary sledge - nice touch. You get a locally brewed beer as a complimentary drink. The place has a lively atmosphere and a lot things going on to socialize the guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I liked the "hipster" vibe of the place. Amazing view at the nearby mountain range.

SwitzerlandI found certain things slightly overpriced - like the snowmobile taxi and some dishes in the restaurant. But the food is absolutely amazing, though. Also, if you don't prebook the restaurant, you might end up with no table in the evening as many people go there just for dinner. If they would communicate this proactively, it would be a good idea - at least for larger groups like ours was (4adults,3 kids)
-Amazing location - Getting there with the snowmobile in winter was a great experience (beware that you cannot reach the hotel otherwise) -Very well equipped for families - playroom with toys for the kids, baby bed, high chair etc Small but nice spa area that can be privately booked, views from the hot tub are great -Friendly staff who will cater for all your needs -Sledges available for free to enjoy a long ride down to the valley

United KingdomSmall rooms but didn't effect my stay as I expected this as its a lodge style hotel on a mountain! Would have preferred an option with a private bathroom but the shared bathrooms were always clean.
The staff were amazing and really looked after us. We mainly booked here for the hot tub and its views- it did not disappoint! The staff were kind enough to give us a longer slot in the spa area. I loved that it was a private spa slot. Would 100% go back again the views are incredible. The drive up was beautiful & challenging during the last 30mins due to the rain & dark but its defiantly worth it. Thank you once again to the wonderful staff.

SwedenThe jacuzzi was too cold for comfort (29,5 C), and controls for the tub are so obscure that we ended up mostly trying to turn the heat on instead of enjoying the experience. We gave up and just used the sauna.
The view, the beds, the sauna was great. Cozy with a familiar feel. Exceptional staff. The walls in the rooms were poorly isolated from sound, but on arrival we were given earplugs. They really thought of everything.

United KingdomIncredible views and location. Well worth the drive up the hill. Room was clean and extremely well presented, bed was comfortable and had two duvets which is always a bonus. Shared bathrooms were spotless. Spa and sauna area was fantastic and included in price, able to book an hour slot which was perfect. Welcome drink included and able to pay for just coffee instead of full breakfast in the morning to enjoy excellent views on the deck. Chairs outside has covers to keep you warm. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very calm relaxed atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend to others and return to stay. Excellent value for money.

United StatesThe drive to get to the hotel was so nerve-wracking and scary we almost didn't make it there. It isn't readily obvious on booking or google maps that you have to drive through a forest on a single-track dirt road with a cliff on one side and a gorge on the other. And it is not s short drive... If you run into an oncoming car, you're screwed! Plus for us it was already dark and was raining... if we had gotten stuck there, bears would have enjoyed our company for sure. The hotel branded merchandise they sell up there costs like Prada... Rooms are literally tiny. We couldn't even open 2 carry-on size suitcases at the same time. I had specifically paid extra for a room with a private bathroom but we still ended up being offered a room with a shared bathroom. We argued and almost didn't get what we paid for. When I asked the staff why the hell they even have shared bathrooms in such a nice looking hotel they said that this way they have to clean less bathrooms. Go figure... Lastly, taking a GPS navigation there takes you through a village and you have to drive between 2 houses with a 2-meter gap. I had to fold my side view mirrors and still barely got through on a compact crossover SUV. I have no idea how Toyota Prada or even Audi Q5 would squeeze through (my Q3 had maybe 1 cm room on each side). When I mentioned this to the staff they said "oh yes, the navigation takes you through that village but there is also another way..." You would think they would provide this warning ahead of time, right? Well, they don't... This gap was the beginning, then came the cliff-hanging offroading drive up the mountain and through the forest. I literally thought my GPS had lost its mind in the swiss alps but being that it was almost 11 PM I had no choice but to keep driving forward hoping that there was an accommodation of some sort at the end of this road and that Jason was not waiting for us there with a chainsaw.
The hotel had a great common area. Staff was super friendly. They make their own beer and wine there. That beer saved my nervous system after the drive I had to go through to get to this location (more on this later). There is free parking on premises (obviously being that you in a village on top of the mountains). Views from the hotel were breathtaking. Breakfast was very good!
