The hosts, Fritz and Gabby, were so welcoming and helpful. They offered suggestions of places to visit, where to eat and answered all of our questions. The breakfast offerings were substantial and delicious! The views from our room were amazing!!

Everything was very good. No complaints.

Fritz and Gabi are hosts like I've never seen anywhere else. They were very kind and helpful. We were overwhelmed by how they welcomed us—with even a basket of fruits and drinks because we had a delay and informed them that we would arrive later. The room is very pleasant, spacious, and clean. New facilities and everything very good. Wonderful breakfast. My young children loved the place. Definitely, on our return to the Interlaken area, we will look for them to stay there again.

We had an excellent stay at Chalet-Gafri and I can recommend it with a pet as well. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. The village is calm and beautiful:)

I can’t think of a thing!

The Chalet exceeded our expectations at every level. Fritz and Gabi were exceptional hosts, offering to help us plan our visit, answering any questions we had, and helping with transportation. Our room on the ground floor level was modern, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful. The place is immaculate! Although they make the kitchen available to cook your own meals, we opted to walk to dinner each evening at the nearby restaurants. We loved staying in a local neighborhood surrounded by the beautiful mountains and meadows, classic Swiss chalets, and the distant sound of cow bells. A lovely stay!

It's a few minute walk to the main street with the train/bus station and grocery store. Not an issue but if you have mobility problems you should be aware. We were offered a room upgrade with a mountain view for about 30-40 Euros extra. There was a good view but with the building and layout it didn't seem like much of an upgrade. The entire valley is breath taking (there were parachutists skydiving their hearts out, beautiful waterfalls, and the mountains are breath taking) are great just not sure the room has the best view.

Room was very clean, hosts were great! Plenty of little touches that were outstanding (some premium chocolates in the room), a well laid out guide book. Hosts picked us up from the town for 8 Euros. Their communication and helpfulness was great and outstanding. They assisted us with finding the best time to go to the top of the Schilthorn mountain. Convenient to Interlaken, and the rest of Lauterbrunnen valley. There are municipal public springs on the street outside that has the freshest, cleanest water I have ever tasted! The room was very clean, well equipped, the bathroom was modern. Great blinds if you want zero sun or to sleep in.

This property was by far the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in! It was in the most beautiful location, and the owners were incredibly kind and so very helpful!! We feel so lucky that this property became available for our stay!! We want to plan another trip to Switzerland just so we can stay at this incredibly beautiful chalet!!

We were treated to an unparalleled level of hospitality that truly enhanced our vacation experience with my family (with 2 kids). From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the hosts, Mr. Fritzi and Mrs. Gabi, spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction leaving an indelible impression of their hospitality The chalet itself was immaculately maintained, boasting stunning views of the surrounding mountains and offering a cozy retreat from the bustling world outside. Every detail, from the plush furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen was thoughtfully curated to provide guests with a home away from home. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, it provided convenient access to hiking trails, charming villages, and other attractions, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the splendor of the Alps. However, what truly set Chalet Gafri apart was the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, greeting us with genuine smiles and taking the time to acquaint us with the chalet and its amenities, they were readily available throughout our stay to address any inquiries or concerns, offering invaluable local insights and recommendations that allowed us to make the most of our time in the area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful chalet in Wilderwil, Switzerland, and it truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to our hosts, Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were staying with close family or friends. The village of Wilderwil is a sight to behold, with its mesmerizing beauty that captures the essence of Switzerland's enchanting landscapes. 😍 The facilities at the chalet were more than adequate, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring authentic Swiss cuisine—absolutely loved the bread, butter, and sausages! *While a bit more variety day-to-day would have been appreciated, the authentic taste of the food, provided a delightful compensation for the limited selection.. 😉 Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to experience genuine Swiss hospitality in a picturesque setting. We're already looking forward to our next visit with Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi! 😇

Honestly nothing.

It was our third visit and cannot recommend it highly enough. Gabi and Fritz are very welcoming, our room was absolutely spotless and the facilities are brilliant. The view from the room is stunning. Easily one of the best breakfasts we've had too! We hope to return in the future.

Gabi & Fritz are simply amazing and so are their staff. Our room was cleaned and made up everyday. Breakfast was basic but with decent options of cheese, bread, butter & eggs. the room was very comfy.

We were on the ground level floor and the guests above us were a bit loud when walking (almost stomping) around and kept us up a couple nights because they came back after 10pm.

Great location in a quiet village and walking distance to a couple castle ruins. Centrally located to many of the surrounding attractions. The hosts were amazing and very friendly.

Everything was great, especially the hosts who were very warm and accommodating to our needs. Kids received free gifts and we were given fruits and chocolates. The place was so calm and serene.

We enjoyed the trip very much. The room is very comfortable and clean! It's a quiet town where you can meet lots of cute cats, see lots of stars at night. It is easy to get to Interlaken and Grindelwald from here. In addition, thanks to the kind host, we lost the key, they did not ask us to compensate, I hope everyone to come here for vacation!

Our room was comfortable but very simple, and it would have been nice if it was a little more decorated or welcoming (this is a very minor note). Additionally, the hotel is about 20 minutes from the e train station. There is a bus that comes somewhat closer but doesn’t run frequently, so coordinating public transport each day was a little tricky. May be best for lodgers who have a car.

Fritz and Gabi were incredible hosts. They were so communicative and lovely, and they checked in on us multiple times during our stay and made us feel so welcome. Gabi even washed and folded our laundry for us one day which was so kind. The breakfast every day was wonderful, and our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and felt like it was brand new. Situated just outside the town of Interlaken which was perfect for us as it was very peaceful and made for very relaxing evenings (particularly the balcony - with incredible views across the valley and nearby mountains). Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The host Fritz was went above and beyond to help us , e.g. with activities - particularly as the weather had changed for the worse - and suggested some excellent things to see and do that we weren't aware of. Please don't hesitate to book here - we'd definitely stay again if we're in the area.
