Location : right smack in LauterBrunnen and is accessible via foot from the station. Or get on bus 141 which is right outside the station. only ONE stop so that its bus stop is only a 100 m to Chalet Rosa. Taking the bus just help to get over a little uphill. Chalet Rosa is also only 100 m to Staubbach Falls. Room : a cosy Swiss home with multiple rooms .. the 3 of us took the Quad room. that has two single beds and a bunk bed. Has all the C's ie Clean Comfortable and Cosy. Grateful for the common WCs as this helps to eleviate the wait for the attached WC to the bathroom. Chalet Rosa is more a Bed & Breakfast accommodation. The breakfast is simple and nurtritious. With fresh fruits, yoghurt and milk included with pastry, breads and other spreads. Like the common sitting room with the fire place. Though there was no need to use the fire place when we were there. Communication : its a delight communicating with the property as they were prompt and responsive with information.

The property has an excellent location and if you are lucky can get a room with an awesome view. But what I liked the most was the great attention and service from the staff. Gabby who received us was the best! She gave us an excellent explanation of the place and also helped us prepare a takeaway breakfast for early in the morning to visit the top of Europe as we planned to leave early and it was perfectly prepared and left it in a fridge. It was awesome! We liked so much the staff we even booked another extra night. Thank you so much Gabby for letting us have an amazing experience!

The view from the room was beautiful. Location of the hotel is excellent. Gabby, our host, was very helpful and warm. There was a good spread for breakfast. The room including the bathroom was very clean. In all, it was a wonderful experience to stay at Chalet Rosa.

Everything was as we expected.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Rosa. Gabby was very welcoming and the room was comfortable. We had shower gel and shampoo provided which was helpful when travelling light! The breakfast was nice with a wide selection of sweet and savory items. The location is perfect, only 5-10 to the station and 2 min from the waterfall and walking trail through the valley.

Staff, specially Lucie was very friendly, polite and professional! She helped us with genuine smile where to go and what to see. Even lend us her personal umbrella as it was snowing and raining. Breakfast is good too.

My room was chilly and could have used more covers on my bed.

Breakfast was lovely. On our last morning we had an early train, so the gentleman filling in made sure coffee and food were ready for us. He also made certain we had a ride to the train station. It was very icy and we had luggage, so we really appreciated his help.
