Location was great for us as we had rented a car, parking was convenient. The hosts super helpful and were able to allow us to leave our suitcases etc in before check in and also provided us with recommended restaurants. Very easy to get to the ski lifts from the property and had everything you could need within the chalet. Views were incredible, arguably the best location in the town for this. Thanks very much!

Slight bit from the shops, needed car to get around. Would have loved it if there was a fireplace and sauna in the property.

There is washing machine in the basement but if it is fitted within the apartment it would be better. The parking assigned for the apartment is 50 m away from the apartment, if it is in front of the chalet it will be better.

Located in high hills overlooking Grindelwald with breathtaking view, very well equipped apartment with all what family might need. The chalet has direct access to the skiing slope Definitely i will come back again in summer.

The stairs going up to the upper floor was a bit confusing, and a bit dangerous, we almost had an accident 😅 you have to be mindful going up or down the stairs. The location is perfect for people with cars, but for us it was a bit far from the town center, and the buses stop working after 7 pm so after that you have to order a taxi which costs between 25-35 francs. The washer/dryer is not inside the apartment, it was in the basement, and also you have to pay with coins so it works ( not very expensive but we had to find coins to use it). Also the garbage bin is not outside the apartment, it was at the nearest bus station which was about 300 meters from the apartment ( but this is everywhere in Grindelwald) The TV in the apartment was very very small, and didn’t work, but I didn’t ask the landlord about it, if I did I’m sure they would have told me how. But with everything said, it was still a beautiful apartment and I would love to visit it again.

Amazing view over Grindelwald and the surrounding mountains, the balcony was just perfect. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with nice furniture, very spacious would fit 6 people easily. The kitchen was well equipped. There was also some cleaning supplies. There were some games and puzzles for us to enjoy.

Nothing! It would be helpful to be warned in advance that a nightly tourist tax is required to be left in cash, this was an additional CHF200 for a week.

The location, especially the view, was incredible. The chalet was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was also near a bus stop which was very handy to get in to Grindelwald and connect to trains and cable cars - we only used the car once all week. The owners were really responsive to any queries we had. It couldn’t be faulted.

The view over the Grindelwald valley and the Jungfrau mountain range is spectacular. The chalet is very well equipped, in a secluded, very quiet location. The interior smells of wood, which adds to the charm of the site. The master bedroom is very comfortable and spacious. The bedroom with 3 beds, 2 of which are bunk beds, is better suited to young children than teenagers. We had to use the kitchen several times and it's very well equipped: nothing is missing. The on-site speaker makes it easy to connect and listen to your playlists. The wifi works well. Plenty of brochures to help us choose what to see.

No faults with the accommodation, but being my first time in Switzerland, I wasn't aware we would have to pay tourist tax, in cash, which was quite expensive on top of everything else. Perhaps guests could be made aware in advance of exactly how much it costs to ensure they bring sufficient currency?

Clean, fully equipped, and good base to explore the local area. Lovely views from the chalet. Had a lovely time and would love to return in future.

A couple of inconveniences are using the laundry facilities; we needed to have 8 CHF in coins to be able to use the washing machine and dryer, but this is not practical. The other thing is the tourist tax which has to be left in a safe box in the apartment in cash. I don't understand why this is not included in the price to avoid the hassle of getting this cash. Occasionally there were some noises from the neighbors in the below apartment and in the apartment on the same floor as well.

The apartment is big and the view of the mountains was great. The three rooms were very suitable for our family of four. The bathrooms were clean and functional and the kitchen was also very good. The location is very good but I think having a car is essential as the walk from the bus station is not that easy, especially after a long day of activities and also as the bus service ends at 7:00 pm. The parking location is convenient.

Very nice & comfortable stay. The route to chalet a bit steep & require 4 wheel vehicle or 2 wheeler with snow chain during winter. Shortcut available, best to look carefully at the map rather than 100% following google. Quite area. Mountain view is outstanding..

not as big as I imagined . the upstair bedroom was sharp roofed . the stair design is not comfortable .
