The staff was very responsive over email, the whole property was exceptionally clean, and I loved the ease of the check-in process with the fobs, as well as the security in being able to lock/unlock your own closet with the same fob that opens all the doors. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

- tricky to find this hostel and far from train station but on the other hand it was close to hiking routes - a bit pricy for hostel but this is Zermatt and you won't find anything cheap here

Everything, absolutely everything the location is far away from the village but I like it, u are near to the rever to the mountains a very beautiful view. The customer service responded to any question. I left my language before the check in time with no extra charges, and they allowed me to check in before the time as well.

As a female solo traveller, a tad bit secluded. Being away from city centre is okay, but the path to the hostel is a short 50m part of a hiking/walking trail so there are no lights and it can get a bit scary when it gets dark.

I love that the beds were cozy, curtains for privacy. Amazing kitchen and space to cook and mix with others! The night view of the Matterhorn was actually insane

The room, bathroom, kitchen are very good. My favourite is the spacious locker. With a single key, you can access all room you needed including the locker. The bed is very comfy with the curtain. All you need is just there. Even though the location quite far from the center but it’s totally worth it with the view of Matterhorn. The sounds of river just made the hostel ever more cozy.

Property is by the river, surrounded by large trees, nature. Cabin feel. Great view to Matterhorn from outside. The neighborhood was peaceful. We really love it here.

Location? 25 mins walk but also free bus Hob too techy .. most people v confused. Recycling facilities in kitchen unclear. Nowhere to wash & dry clothes Atmosphere? For a hostel, people largely kept themselves to themselves. How to build in a bit of soul??

Location...top of Zermatt so detached from the bustle. Great views. Great quality inside.. more hotel with dorms rather than hostel. I really liked the curtains on the box beds.

To be honest, nothing! May be two more chairs in our 4 beds room would make it perfect.

The kitchen facilities and cleanliness are perfect, I never felt so at home, I got every equipment I need for cooking proper meals for family of 5. There are plenty of showers and toilets available, which we never need to wait, and they are very clean. Shower are nice and hot. Bedroom are very quiet, warm, clean and bed is comfortable. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. The area are very pretty and calm, I am still missing the best view of Matterhorn every time I walk in and out of the hostel, I also like it is away from tourists and shops. It took a bus and a bit of walk to the hostel, which makes it not as convenient and the walk to the hostel is not possible for wheeled luggage but that really make the whole experience unique.

Location was a little distant from the center of the city and had trouble trying to figure out how to get to it from the train station.

The greeting and the person who met us was superb. Friendly and helpful in greeting us and getting set up for the stay. The room was large, clean with large windows and modern comfortable furnishings. I would book again. Only a short walk from the train station and bus stop.

It was a bit further than I thought, but everything else makes up for it. The hospitality and communication with the host, along with the views, the comfort and cleanliness are all worth the location.

EVERYTHING!!! Love that the beds had a privacy curtain. something you don’t really see in many hostels. Also, loved the size, not too big, it was the perfect size. The place was always clean and tidy. oh and the Laundry was a huge plus :)
