Madam Muna and Sir Lucien were so hospitable. Muna made us comfortable after a tiring day. She prepared a simple but exceptional breakfast. Had a short but meaningful conversation... Couldn't ask for more.

There was nothing we didn't like. The four stories and twisting staircases plus the small shared bathroom could be a problem for some guests.

Muna and Lucien were very welcoming and helpful, the range and quality of food at breakfast was excellent (a lot of home made preserves), there was a kitchen for guests' use and an attractive back garden. We enjoyed our stay in this interesting conveniently located traditional town house.

I prefer a private bathroom, but chose this location based on value / price which included a shared bathroom.

Muna and Lucien were very helpful from providing an umbrella for a rainy day to providing a breakfast to go for my train ride. The location was excellent the breakfast was excellent, the Bedding was excellent.

The hospitality was excellent. Muna and Lucien were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and beautiful. The room was also excellent with a view of the castle. It's in the old town, so it's guaranteed you will have an awesome, genuine experience.

While I didnt have any problem with it, it is important to remark that to access the rooms one needs to go through many stairs.

They were very very kind. The place in the old city was excellent. The breakfast really good.

Although the room was nice and with a castle view, its wall was adjacent to shared toilet and shower wall, so I could hear people taking shower at 6 AM.

A small very cozy hotel with a family-like atmosphere and nice location in the center of Thun. I had very nice room with a view on a castle. I also greatly appreciated Muna and Lucien, who made me feel not like in a hotel, but like visiting someone else´s home. When you look for the accomodation on the street, it is from "downstairs" (it is basically located below the terrace on the lower street level)

Breakfast was fantastic, the various homemade jams were excellent and omelets cooked by Muna was delicious. Location is central just in front of the castle and cathedral, also near restaurants, pubs and bars. Thun was a very pleasant surprise and a highlight of our Switzerland tour.

A little cramped, and with a shared bathroom, you’d hope that everyone would lock the bathroom door….someone didn’t, and I was very embarrassed at 2:30 in the morning, when I walked in on a male guest! 🫣

The accommodation was clean, and comfortable, albeit, our room was in the eaves, so lots of ducking to get into bed without banging my head, and not much room around the bed for moving about. Not very suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely being able to open the velux windows and see the castle, and hear the church bells. We were glad that there was a fan supplied, as it was very warm when we were there. Nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts.

This is an old school B&-like experience with the nicest hosts you'll ever meet who live in the building. For example, in much of Europe you get only a duvet with no top sheet. I sleep hot and this arrangement doesn't work for me. Lucien & Muna solved it for me immediately with a creative solution. Bed was comfortable and they accommodated my request for a quieter room. The breakfast was a home made, locally sourced, truly delicious example of traditional European breakfast.

Really? Are you serious?

This place is not a BnB. It's an island of incredibly tender love and care disguised as a BnB. From the moment I was received (4 hours b4 check in time) to our 6 am goodbye the next day, Muna was an angel of hospitality I've never seen in 35 years of travel. She absolutely insisted that she would serve me breakfast at 6 am despite my urging her not to do so. And she makes the best cup of tea I've ever had in my long travel history. What can I add except that Lucien stands like a rock of support for her. Thank you for making Thun unforgettable!

It's an old department. A little noisy when someone walks. There's no elevator. The washroom is small and share. However, alles gute!😉

It's in old town. Very special. The owner is very friendly. I arrived earlier but she tried to assist me and all the time. Thanks so much for help. It provides kitchen and you can cook here. It provides traffic card, too and you can take bus for free. You get the card even before you arrive. Good to eat breakfast in a garden. Enjoy it. The best one is electric fan! So comfortable.

Muna and Lucien were perfect hosts. I was due to arrive later than the specified check-in times, but they said that was no problem. Then my train was delayed an hour. Lucien was at the front door to greet me as I arrived at 22:40 and carried my heavy suitcase up 7 flights of stairs. (Don't stay here if you struggle with stairs. It's 8 stories high). Their place is an old narrow tall shop in the middle of the old town - full of character. It's a minute's walk from the river-side with lots of bars and restaurants - very lively. I woke up to a stunning view of the Stockhorn over the roofs of the old town. I had to leave early to catch a train and they provided an excellent breakfast at 7am. Nothing was too much trouble. I would love to visit again.

Everything. Entry on the arrival was simple and well signposted. Muna and Lucien were the loveliest hosts. Breakfast had great variety and was really tasty. Rooms were amazing and tge building was stunning. Great place.
